The electronic monitors standing next to the black capsules hummed incessantly and relentlessly to the point of mild annoyance. Their irritating beeps made you yearn to pull the plug off of one and just crush it into smithereens.

However, despite their irksome tunes, the monitors' job was one of utmost importance. Just one wrong note, was all it took to differentiate between the presence of life and the prevalence of death.

So while the noises might've sounded bothersome to listeners, to the patients within the incubators, they were a source of hope, an inspiration to keep on fighting.

The Magic Laboratory's Clean Room, as the space was aptly known, was maintained in a state of unblemished cleanliness, free from all filth and germs.

The perfect environment for healing and restoration, not just anyone was permitted to enter the sanctuary.
