Battle of the Strongest (II)

Before being accepted into the First Imperial School grounds, it was customary for all students to discard all weapons and/or artifacts they had brought in from the outside.

This was done to establish a fair environment for all students… so that no one student started out with more advantages than the rest.

To gain access to new weapons and artifacts, students either had to participate in class lectures or, win related class competitions and events.

For his first victory in the Origin Class' Magic Combat Tournament, Saul had chosen the personal dormitory for his prize.

At the time, this option had seemed the most apt for his situation and to this day, Saul had never, not even once, regretted making this decision.

That being said, it was the prize for his second victory that Saul was mostly proud of.

The Chronostasis rings- as the golden earrings he wore on his ears were officially known- were magic artifacts imbued with an unimaginable power.
