Regarding what Grandma said to me, my parents just listened quietly at the side without interrupting. After all of us entered the house, led by Grandma, we bowed several times to the paper marked "Immortal Position." Grandma was about to light a few more sticks of sandalwood incense but I stopped her, as the incense I lit seemed more useful under these circumstances, at least it could help the Home Guardian's practice.
The Home Guardian didn't stand in front of us to receive our worship, but stood aside, covering her mouth to stifle her laughs.
"Say, Great Immortal, shouldn't you be off to cultivate?" I said casually as I lit a large bunch of sandalwood incense, turning to the Home Guardian who stood by.
"Hmph! Had I known you'd be like this, I wouldn't have helped you. Not polite at all," the Home Guardian pouted, visibly displeased.
