Chapter 36 Feeling Jealous

“You shouldn’t be working like this…”

Today, as soon as I entered Derek's villa, I found him with piles of files at the kitchen counter and he was sitting on the stool as he examined them one by one by using his only free hand.

“You’re here…” He just gave me a smile.

Last night, he told me the passcode of the entrance gate so now I can walk into his place anytime without him knowing.

Isn't this too much faith in me?

“I said you shouldn’t be working like this…” I emphasized as I approached him.

“I heard you clearly the first time, Amy.”

He was still engrossed in his work when I impulsively pulled the file away from his hand to take his attention.

THUD

“Derek…” Putting the file on the table, I gave him a stern look.

“You better return to your room and rest,” I demand lightly.

“I’ve been resting the whole day, Amy…” He looked irritated.

“Or we could do other things in my room, come…” Just in a few moments, his mood shifted as he stood pulling me with him.
