Chapter 29 Family Standards

“What am I supposed to do?” Once gathered around the dancers, I looked at Sam with a blank mind.

He gave me a smirk and then hopped.

I looked around, and everyone was hopping and then exchanging their partner while spinning around.

I looked down at myself, kicking my heels away, I pulled my gown up and joined them.

We hopped, we laughed, hooking our arms around the male partners we circled.

HA ... HA ...

I laughed as butterflies tickled my stomach and I was literally flying between the two men.

Not caring about my gown or my posture, I dance happily and freely.

CLAP … CLAP

The dance finished and the guests gave a huge round of applause to the group of young dancers.

In the hall, where everyone was standing with pleasant smiles on their face there was only one person with an expression as hard as stone.

Derek gave me a death stare which I am used to this whole week.
