The clock ticked indicating the hour that had passed, just then the door of the villa opened and Derek’s father stood at the entrance with a file in his hand.

“Stop…” Eric's loud refusal stopped me.

“Check him,” He commanded one of his men.

“I am clean, Eric.” His father spoke weakly.

“Well, then let him check father.” He didn’t show any mercy at all.

“Clean, Sir.” The man stepped away from Derek’s father and with a nod of approval, his father was allowed to enter.

“All the papers you needed,” His father handed him the file with a cold face.

“Let father leave, he’s not in proper health Eric,” His father pleaded, While Eric was busy checking the papers, a small smile crept over his face.
