概要

"I wish to have the highest intelligence possible, an intelligence that would allow me to perceive and thoroughly understand everything I see, even if superficially and only once, to the fullest, including strong points, weak points, and how to overcome them." Due to a mistake made by God, Ken is born with every type of perfect memory, but without anything else - he is weak, sickly, stupid, and unwanted. However, there was a saving grace - he made a friend, Leo. Leo would talk to him about hypothetical situations like what to say in case a genie granted him one wish. When Ken dies and God offers him one wish for his next life as compensation for his previous mistake, Ken simply recites Leo's words and is sent to the cultivation world. There, he slowly learns that he is the only one he can trust. Armed with the special remaining Godly Qi from his reincarnation and with the ability to learn and improve techniques and manuals easily, even creating his own original cultivation path, he cultivates with the goal of standing at the top of the world, even if it takes leaving his moral code behind. Follow Ken in his journey as he lie, blackmail, murder, rob, poison, and manipulate others to achieve his goals! ----- DISCLAIMER: The god in the story is completely random and made up, and is not the particular god of any religion existing today in the real world. Chapter 1Prologue

God was watching the earth and doing their normal activities; they would turn the storms, lava eruptions, and typhoons on and off. Furthermore, whenever a baby was born they would see a list of attributes, things like "intelligence", "raw power", and "memory".

It wasn't always like that, but ever since humans invented the idea of stat distributions in their video games, God had to admit it was a much better way to display the whole concept. Instead of giving vague descriptions about how the new baby should be, now they could just set a random number of stat points according to their mood and then distribute them between the stats.

They could just let genetics work on their own in a natural process, but customizing the humans was a lot more interesting.

This quantified method was much more convenient. For example, their favorite singer just released a new song, and it was pretty neat. At the same time, a really beautiful cheetah on the verge of extinction gave birth successfully. Overall, God was in a great mood, so they decided to assign 300 points to the next baby born, double the usual amount.

God gave that baby plenty of charm points, making him beautiful and charming. They even added good-voice stats in honor of the new song. They were just as generous with intelligence and grace. Overall, the baby will be a very successful human when he grows as long as his parents provide him with a good education and opportunities.

Although it might sound troublesome, it wasn't really. God was omnipresent and omniscient, so even if hundreds of babies were born at the same time, God didn't really have a problem distributing stats to all of them.

They decided to watch again one of their favorite humans. It was a young girl, 16 years old, who was as pure as an angel. She was kind to everyone around her, she never got angry, and she always showed a smile to the people who approached her.

To God's dread, one of her girl friends was being naughty. Tempted by that friend, she lifted merchandise from a shop and ran away, giggling all the way out and beyond. It was the first action that marked the girl's corruption.

God was watching the scene anxiously and felt their heart shatter when the friend pointed at another store, offering to do it again until they couldn't watch it anymore.

"No, no! She was so pure, why did this stupid girl have to corrupt her mind too?"

Without paying attention to their own action, God was just giving attributes to a newborn randomly, spending all of the attribute points on a single stat – memory.

"Oh, no! That baby was sent to the world with poor health, power, intelligence, and charm! Everything was low except for his memory!" But it only took them one second to shrug. "Oh well, accidents happen."

God watched the new baby and forgot all about the girl. After all, every human sinned every now and then.

The newborn was named Ken, and he was born into a good family. At first, nobody noticed anything wrong. But slowly the problems emerged to the surface. The baby was stupid, to say the least. He was weak and ugly. He grew up to be a sickly boy who took a long time to understand anything.

However, he had one special feature; his memory was completely perfect. He was diagnosed with Hyperthymesia, eidetic memory, and Savant Syndrome. He was regarded as a mnemonist as well.

Basically, Ken had all types of perfect memory. He was doing great at school in studies that required only memory as Languages, History, and Literature. But he was doing horribly in Math and things that required understanding.

His family wasn't impressed. They just paid for his tuition but never asked him anything or intervened in his life. He went through bullying and abuse for his ugliness and stupidity, and he remembered everything as if it had all happened a moment ago because of his memory. Even his memory turned into a curse.

"I messed up with this one. unfortunately, I made the rule not to change stats after distributing them and swore to keep it after I made a mess by changing my mind a few times and causing a war a few centuries ago. I will make it up for him after his death."

Ken grew up and made a friend in school. In fact, that was the first and last time he'd ever made a friend. His friend, Leo, was extremely smart, but due to his poor emotional intelligence, he couldn't make friends either. Thus, the two made a great pair of friends.

"He doesn't have much time left. His health deteriorates every day, and he will probably die in a few years."

God would give a quick look to make sure everything was ok and then go back right after to watch their favorite series or play some video games. They had to give it to the humanity of the modern age; the culture was great, and the entertainment was endless. There was some madness out there, but overall, it was far better than before.

Time passed, and one day, when Ken was 19 years old, his brain went through a stroke. He collapsed and died on the spot.

"Let's grant him a wish for his next life."

God decided on proper compensation and summoned Ken's soul to him instead of letting it dissipate like normal.

"Hello Ken, I decided to grant you one wish for your next life, what would it be? I can send you to a world of magic with a system, or a cultivation world with a grandpa in a ring to guide you in your journey to eternity."

God suggested a few options they liked from anime and novels they consumed. God knew Ken's intelligence was low and might not know what was best for him, so they decided to offer a few good options.

"I wish to have the highest intelligence possible, an intelligence that would allow me to perceive and thoroughly understand to the fullest everything I see, even if I see it only superficially and only once, including strong points, weak points, and how to overcome them."

God metaphorically gaped at the request.

"Are you sure? A system would allow you to advance easily. How about having both a grandpa and a system?"

That request was way too much!

"I'm sure."

"Ok, then I will just increase your intelligence to a few times above the average."

"I wish to have the highest intelligence possible, an intelligence that would allow me to perceive and thoroughly understand to the fullest everything I see, even if I see it only superficially and only once, including strong points, weak points, and how to overcome them."

"Oh wait, you know what could be a great wish?"

"I wish to have the highest intelligence possible, an intelligence that would allow me to perceive and thoroughly understand to the fullest everything I see, even if I see it only superficially and only once, including strong points, weak points, and how to overcome them."

"Don't just repeat-"

"I wish to have the highest-"

"FINE!"

Ken just repeated the same words, and God was obliged to fulfill them, sending the soul into a baby of the cultivation world.

"Ken... I've calculated your path. I only hope you can live up to my expectations," God muttered to themselves. After all, can an omnipotent hand slip?

Hey everyone, the story has been here for a while. I write this new review because I've rewritten the first volume, or more specifically, chapters 25-30, due to my own preferences. After editing, Ken is not a villain in the first volume, so don't come here crying about the villain tag without reading the second volume. My definition of a villain is someone who harms or kills innocent others for their own selfish reasons and benefit. If that's not enough for you, you can call Ken an antihero, I don't really care. Other than that, I will go over what I said in my first review (which I will leave so you can read the 23 replies on it if you want although they will be summarized here). 1. Although MC is intelligent in general, understanding is the most important part of his intelligence. Understanding cultivation and techniques in order to improve them and advance fast. He doesn't know the future, and he is neither Kira nor Lelouch. 2. MC is still young and not immune to developing emotions toward others. Some are positive, some are negative. I do my best to develop his character in a unique and realistic way. 3. Companions - MC is not the only long-term character in the story. 4. Criticism - His villainous actions were quite sudden and came from nowhere. Irrelevant now after editing the first volume. 5. Criticism - Indeed, the first volume focuses on Ken's growth with limited action, especially towards its conclusion. However, subsequent volumes ramp up the action as he ventures out. I believe the first volume's depth in character development is just as captivating, even without the intense action, and it helps us get attached to Ken. 6. No romance, no harem. 7. While familiar cultivation concepts appear in the first volume, it's primarily focused on explaining the power system and sect structure, not assuming prior reader knowledge. In subsequent volumes, as the MC interacts more with the external world, the background and world-building become increasingly detailed and enriched. By the way, the volumes are short, four volumes over by chapter 190 or so. 8. If you're confused by the power system (which isn't too complicated), you can easily find a summary in the auxiliary chapter. Just don't read Ken's techniques which appear later if you don't want any spoilers. That's it for this review, I think I covered everything. Hope it wasn't unnecessarily long!
