Loguetown business!

Loguetown port, which is located northeast of the entrance to Reverse Mountain and just north of the Calm Belt, was buzzing with activity. Before entering the Grand Line, many East Blue pirates make a halt there to acquire supplies and sell their treasure in "The Town of the Beginning and the End," as it is known. It was a surreal experience as Neo saw the entrance of the fabled town, serving as another affirmation of his new life.

After a grueling mission, the marine crew needed to replenish the ship's supplies and let off some steam so they went to hit the pubs and brothels. Neo picked up his treasure chest and went in the direction of the biggest trade association. He was now penniless, and as a capitalist, he knew the power of money.

Many individuals were busily trading goods with traders in a big hall.

Neo approached a counter and placed a glowing gem on it, "I need to speak with your superior; there are many more where that came from", he said confidently.

When the trader heard Neo's sincere words, his eyes lit up with belli symbols, and he gasped. He wasn't anticipating this little lad to be a domineering young master.

He immediately greeted Neo with a smile, escorted him to a secluded room, and then called his superior without wasting any time. A short while later, a well-dressed man with a cunning look arrived and calmly sat in front of Neo.

J: "Hello! My name is Joseph. You were looking for me, right? How may I assist you, kid?"

N: "Neo Garcias, nice to meet you and I want to make a deal." He set the wooden chest on the table.

Joseph became serious and said, "I hope you know what you're playing boy. If this is some prank, I won't be merciful for wasting my time, even though you're a child."

Neo opened the chest containing glittering gold and gems and stared at Joseph smugly.

"If you want to continue working with me, I hope you pay a fair price. I'll give you one chance to state your offer after calculating the value. If the offer is unsatisfactory, this deal goes to other traders. Moreover, refrain from calling me a kid in the future."He replied coldly.

Joseph was taken aback because his instincts as a veteran businessman warned him that Neo was dangerous, the red eyes were scary. This child possesses a wild aura similar to the pirates and bounty hunters he had faced before.

This deal might represent a turning point in his career, and he might receive another promotion. After contacting his assistants, Joseph began calculating the value of the 150 kg of gold and 40 priceless stones that made up the loot. The estimated market worth is above 100 million Berri, which is a significant sum of money.

After a brief moment, Joseph said, "Fifty million," as they both stared at each other.

With a bang, Neo closed the chest and began to leave.

"Wait, stop! Stop! 70 million Beliis "yelled Joseph.

He didn't anticipate that Neo would leave without haggling. He was becoming agitated as Neo almost reached the door, so he hurriedly yelled: "The most I can pay you without suffering losses is one hundred million Belli. Before being sold, the gold must be melted and refined."

"Deal!!" Neo exclaimed as he paused and turned around with a big smile.

When he traveled around the world, he picked up this bargaining technique from Asian aunties while shopping in the markets. This godly technique needs years of practice and talent.

Joseph was the first victim of this deadly technique in one piece world.

Neo ordered, "Send the money to the Marine ship on the dock." He stated that he was with the marines because he was aware that he might be targeted by the association. He didn't want to pick a fight with mob characters that weren't essential for his growth.

Joseph sighed quietly and was glad that he had handled Neo without resorting to force. His suspicion that this brat wasn't like other kids was right.

J: "Yes, sir. Do you require additional assistance?"

N: "Do you sell devil fruits?"

J: "Unfortunately no, devil fruits are exceptionally rare and valuable. Once a year, the association arranges auctions to sell all the valuable objects."

This was understandable given the rarity of the elusive devil fruits. Most of what is sold are weak and has less potential.

J: "Sir, if you want potent devil fruits, you'll have to travel down the treacherous grand line. I've heard that several devil fruits are regularly up for grabs in certain islands. I have no idea if the rumors are genuine or not."

Neo made a mental note that he will take part in this auction later, then he took some of his money, and went shopping around town excitedly. He went to several different cafes, where he tried the local dish and also changed his outfit and bought himself some nice (all-black) clothing and shoes.

After returning to the ship to express his gratitude to the crew for saving his life, he planned to thank them by purchasing a large quantity of food and drinks for everyone on board. He also bought donuts and rice crackers for Garp.

"It feels good to be rich.", he thought.
