It took a week to get back to Loguetown, and while they were traveling, they talked about the finer details of how they would cooperate in the long term. All of his investments will be managed by Jenne and Reed. The first one will be the casino that he plans to build. They were so enthusiastic that they immediately began strategizing how much money would be needed and what kind of business model to employ. Neo brought his knowledge from Earth, such as a slot machine, trading cards, and monopoly based on the One Piece world, all of which will be purchased by many sailors and pirates as a way to pass the time during the lengthy journey. These games can be enjoyed for their enjoyment by everyone, including children and civilians. When Jenne heard about these games, she became very curious about them.
In addition, Neo worked out daily, first on his muscles, then on his haki, and lastly, he trained in chakra control under the sun. In the evenings, he practiced swordsmanship and other martial arts. Because of his vitality and chakra, he recovered very quickly, and his stamina kept increasing.
The captives were turned over to the marines when they arrived in Loguetown. Then Neo and his companions went to see Joseph, who greeted them with great enthusiasm. He had already done what Neo had asked of him by going around and pulling some strings.
Joseph said: "Welcome Neo! I was wondering when you'd be back. Take a look at this." He laid out a plan for the city, and he colored most of the area around the central plaza green.
Joseph: "Here are the plots that can be bought. I had to pull a few strings to get this done."
This made Neo very happy, and he said: "You are very efficient Joseph. Now, how much will all this cost?"
Joseph: "I'm estimating that it will cost you between $35 and $40 million."
Neo: "Joseph, meet Jenne and Reed. They're my partners and will handle this deal in the future."
They shook hands and introduced themselves, and then they started discussing the market prices, the taxes that needs to be paid, and numerous other information. Neo listened carefully and then gave them the job of figuring out how much it was worth and set up a meeting for a few days later.
Then, they went to the spots marked green and started looking around the town. They made a reservation in a hotel for three rooms to stay there for a few weeks while they explored the town. The group was fired up, and a few days later Neo went back and bought most of the prime locations around the city square for $40 million. Jenne and Reed carefully handled the paperwork, and within a week Neo was the biggest landlord in Loguetown. Joseph was ecstatic as well since he had acquired yet another lucrative business deal.
Rebuilding started right away, and the whole town square was renovated and repainted. Some of the buildings will look modern, and there will be lots of fun things to do nearby, like arcades, bars, stores, fast food stands, and casinos. It will also cost around 10 million bellies. There were a lot of jobs generated, and the town became busy with reconstruction.
In the meantime, Neo decided to go to the Hunter's Guild. There are four strong groups in the world of One Piece:
1> Certainly, it's the marines and the world government.
2>The infamous Pirates
3>The criminal underworld
4>The Hunter's guild
Marines work as a unit to fight pirates and protect the celestial dragons. The pirates have their nakamas, and they want to travel the rumored grand line to become the king of the pirates by reaching the end of the mysterious grand line. The activities of the underworld, which frequently involve black markets, slave trade, assassination, and information brokering, take place against the backdrop of piracy. The only thing they care about is making money, and they'll do anything to do that. The final group is the hunters, who are responsible for tracking down pirates and collecting their bounties. As a whole, they are not as powerful as they are on an individual basis since they do not work together or have any long-term goals. Neo intends to unite this group under one banner and become a professional mercenary force with a military-style organization and a strong sense of unity. Hunters are strong people who don't want to be pirates and be hunted by the marines or work for the government. They mostly want to make money and be free to travel around the world. Some of them might be bloodthirsty and cruel, but most of them aren't.
