Harvesting the fruits

Ragnar and the pirates along with the crew consumed sake in the oath of their loyalty, Ragnar was still not used to drinking sake, it had a strong flavour so he couldn't suppress a few coughs.

"Now that you all have proven your loyalty to me, What do we do with your previous leaders?" Ragnar asked the pirates who all didn't know what to say.

"They have caused you all too much suffering, now it is you all that choose their fate." Kashi supported Ragnar. The pirates all came up with different ideas. But one stood out the most.

"Kill them!" The answer was what Ragnar was looking for, He wasn't someone who kills for fun or enjoyment but scum like these guys deserve death, they have not only killed dozens of people but also have caused suffering to many people.

"Are you sure?" Ragnar Asked the pirate who brought up the idea.

"Yes, We all are." The pirate said and all of them erupted in a chorus of Agreement.

"Cooks bring me a whole basket of different fruits you have." Ragnar said, The cooks agreed to the request and went to the pantry and brought a basket of fruits.

"If you all say so, These two evil men have caused too much suffering to you all, they have murdered innocents and made you guys's lives hell, For that sin, they shall be executed for heinous crimes." The crowd yelled in an agreed Yes and applauded in Ragnar's speech.

Ragnar went over to the captain and vice captain and pulled out Sigyn. He motioned the cook to bring the baskets near the captain and vice captain.

The people present here wondered what he was going to do with those fruits.

"This is the end of your life, I wanted to hand you guys over to the marines but they will only lock you up in impel down till you're dead, This is the better ending for you two." Ragnar said in a lowered voice but everyone could hear him and could only feel pity for the captain and vice captain.

*Slice*

With one slice both of the ir heads went rolling, Ragnar couldn't believe what he did, his hands were stained in blood, for the first time. He sheated his sword and could only hear the rolling of the heads and then they stopped.

Everyone was silent and no-one spoke a word, their new captain was silently standing with his head down.

'I have killed for the First time, I feel like a monster. I guess it is only human to feel so.' After he looked up, the pirates clapped at once. The applaud of bravery and appreciation.

In the minds of these pirates and chefs, Ragnar was a hero, He single handedly solved their mesery and showed them a new life.

A few pirates couldn't help but tear up after years of being mislead and obeying the tyrant's order, they were free.

"Kashi, please take these fruits away." Kashi nodded and put the fruits away.

A few hours passed and everyone had calmed down, the captain and vice captain were buried in Hashi Island as a formal burying.

The logs that Ragnar and Kashi collapsed were transferred to the ship, it is better to reuse these logs in the future than cut trees.

After doing that, Ragnar went to the pantry where the food items were stored, After some time of searching, he found the fruit basket and took out two weird looking fruits.

One was a slightly tan coloured Apple with swirls and antlers, the other was of cylindrical shape it had blue colour and many small swirls, it had a green coloured stem in the shape of a lightning bolt.

If his theory was correct then the first Was the Fruit used by herald and the second one wa the one used by the vice captain.
