Luffy and kumi were standing on the shore as the villagers came to see them off.The mayor of the town was complaining about yet another infamous pirate from their village as everyone said goodbye to luffy.

Luffy and kumi waved at everyone they had met over the years, including makino and dadan as a cloud was formed in front of them as they got. on it, and we're carried away into the sky.

It was now nightfall, and a huge storm was taking place.Luffy could easily just escape the storm right now but wanted to follow the original plot, so he spotted a barrel and entered it.

Kumi was a bit confused when luffy entered the barrel, but having full fate in his friend, he entered the barrel as they were wixed away into a whorl pool.

In the east blue inside the pirate shop of the alvida pirates, two pirates were bullying a scrony boy with glasses and punk hair.

"Lisen, you little runt if you mention a word of this to lady alveida your dead." said one of the pirates as the boy nodded his head in fear.

The two men they went towards the barrel about to open it when luffy and kumi jumped out,of the barrel knocking out the two men immediately.

The pink haired boy was startled by the sudden appearance of luffy and kumi."Hey, what is your name, and can you please lead me to where u can find something to eat."said luffy, smiling as kumi waved towards the boy.

Who me said the boy as he looked side to side."Yes, you who else is in here."replied luffy."My name is coby, and yes, I can show you to the location of the food."said copy.

"Great, oh yeah, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is monkey.d.luffy, and I'm going to become the king of the pirates."shouted luffy proudly.

"King of the pirates, you know the Marines won't stop chasing you, and it's basically impossible for that to happen."said coby.

"I know, but I won't give up for living a life of chasing your dreams is far better than loving a life of regret."replied luffy, smiling.

Luffy was led to the pantry by coby, where he and kumi started consuming everything insight."So, how did you end up on this pirate ship? You don't seem like the type to become an evil pirate."said luffy, though he already knew the answer.

Coby hesitated for a moment before speaking.I went out to fish at see but got stranded." I was rescued by what I presumed to be fishermen but turned out to be pirates instead, and I've been forced to work as a chore boy ever since."

"So I'm guess your dream is to be a marine to stop what happened to you from happening to others."said luffy."Yeah, I want to bring justice to the evil pirates like alveida,the captain of this pirate ship."replied coby.

"I know you have this big impression of marines as people who do the right thing, but when it comes down to it if a celestial dragon ordered the enslavement of innocent women and children the Marines won't bad an eye.

"But their are good ones out their so make sure you're one of them."said luffy as he turned around smiling.
