One Piece: Dragon King

The name is Drake Wiseman, a 25-year-old barely surviving in this world. My mom died a couple of years ago due to a car accident. My dad went to go milk when I was born and never came back since.

Since mom died, I lost my job along with everything else due to my depression after she died. But financially I'm still fine with the money I saved up along with mom's as well. I'm back to living in our previous house since I moved out when I was 20.

I was going to a comic shop to buy some mangas since they were one of the few things I still enjoy, particularly One Piece, I read the latest chapter online but I still wanted to buy some volumes for my collection. As I was walking down the street, I heard some gunshots being fired along with everyone screaming and running.

I'm not the confrontation type especially towards someone with a gun, so I ran as I could to get out of the shooter's way but I felt a sharp pain in my head and the next thing I know I can't feel anything and I slowly lost my unconscious until I all could see was darkness until a bright light engulfed me.

"Human 880097974-79;'`7494:90786- Drake Wiseman has been selected to be reborn into the world One Piece in order to relive the " One Above All" boredom."

That was what I heard before I lost consciousness again. Although this time for only a second before I felt my body again only a lot smaller as in the size of a baby. Actually, that's what I was. The next thing I see is a beautiful woman with black hair along with gentle light green eyes picked me up as I soon started crying at the realization of what just happened. Even though I tried to stop crying, my body just wouldn't listen.

"Drake, it's okay." Drake's mom said she started to sing a song while swaying the baby in her arms. Soon, the baby fell asleep as the woman looked towards a portrait on the table. On it was her and her now late husband who had dark-skinned with short dark blue hair. His eyes had a sharp gaze that you could feel just from the portrait.

"Honey, I wish you were here, I named our son after your brother just like you asked me. I promise I raise him to become a fine man one you would be proud of." She said out loud as soon tears fell out of her eyes. She wiped them away as she made sure her newborn baby slept comfortably while she soon fell asleep as well due to exhaustion after giving birth to her newborn son.

Six Years Later

A tall dark-skinned six-year-old with dark blue hair and green eyes is seen running around the only town on the medium-sized island in the West Blue. Drake has grown to a 5'6 feet tall four-year-old, pretty average size in the world of One Piece.

( Drake's Pov )

' It's been six years since I been reborn into the world of One Piece and man was I afraid at the thought of it first considering just how grume and cruel it is but I think I have gotten used to it now.'

' I started training about 4 months away which include me running around the island and doing exercises to build up my strength and stamina that mom would let me do. I wasn't training to become the strongest or anything like that but strong enough to protect my family.'I thought while waving towards everyone in the town since I was running back home.

As I slowed down my running speed, my mind slowly drifted away to what year it is along with my future plans.

' Right now, it is the year 1473 meaning the Rocks Pirates aren't yet formed yet. And the events of god valley happen 13 years from now. But I need to increase my strength somehow.'

' I thought I would have gotten some kind of op system but what I have right now is a system that lets me see the strength, health, and ranking of power in this world along with a map equipped with a devil fruit finder. Other than there's basically nothing. Well, that's not completely true, the system did change my body so I have a chance of making sure I can survive in this world.'

I thought while reaching my house on the outskirts of the town. The house wasn't that big but it was comfortable for two people. I could already smell mom's cooking from outside the house.

"Mom, I'm home," I yelled out as I enter the house and went to the kitchen where I could see her cooking.

" Welcome back honey, go clean yourself up. I'm almost done with cooking up everything." His mom said back as Drake went to the bathroom to do just that.

Four Minutes Later

The mom and son could be seen eating the feast that was on the table.

" Drake, what's the matter with you so interested in training now." She asked her son as she stopped eating.

"It's because I heard some of the townspeople saying tons of islands are now getting attacked more. So I wanted to be strong enough to protect us both." I said back to her making her go all happy since you could see flowers blooming around her.

"Haha, I'm afraid I'm strong enough to protect us both but I don't mind the extra help." She said back as they continued eating.

" Hey mom, tell me more about dad, all you tell me was that he was a former Marine Captain," I asked her since mom would me some things about him but wouldn't go into that much depth. I wanted to know more about my family in this life.

"Sigh, I can't get out of this, can I. Your dad's name is Aiden Acnologia, he was a former Marine Captain here in the West Blue before he quit due to just how corrupt it was. After he retired he became a doctor which was around the time he met me on this island as both of us are doctors and we fell in love.

About two years later, we became married and I changed my name to Diana Acnologia. Soon after that, a pirate crew attacked this island, Aiden fought them and managed to kill all of them before dying from gun wounds and sword wounds as well and 8 months later you were born. Diana said while reminiscing about the past.

Drake quickly stood up from his chair and hugged his mother making her cry even more. The two had their moments before Diana started talking about Drake's father once more. Drake learned a lot more about what kind of person his dad was. They talked about an hour before Diana had to go to the town since she was one of the few doctors on the island. While Drake went back to training in the backyard of his house.

'In order to have the best odds of surviving in this world, I gotta join an organization first before the great age of pirates begins. Being a pirate is out of the question right now since I need proper training. The second would be the Marines but I gotta go to Marinford to receive the best training. The third option for me would be the World Government which isn't bad since I receive both training and intel on the World Government along with knowing things about the void century along with some of the newer things Oda pulled out of his ass on the latest chapters.'

' As for being the Pirate King, the number of risks and reward involved in the isn't worth it. And going against the World Government is just plain stupid for no reason. Alright, fuck it I make the decision when the time comes.' I thought while punching the air.
