Lucas: I need to pay....you are the lady here. This is what a man should do.

Bella: But I can't take your help everytime.

Lucas: Come on it's just a small sum of money. Are we going to argue because of this?

Bella: I am not arguing with you... It's just...

Lucas: Ok if you say so, the you can pay me back by inviting me to dinner.

Inviting me to dinner...what the hell Lucas? When were you this free to get invited over for dinner? Yes it's just she wanted to repay my money and I suggested a way for that. It's not like I'm eager and excited to have dinner with her, right?

Bella: Ok then after Rachel will discharge from here, I will invite you for dinner.

They both went up to Rachel's ward. Till then she was also awake. She sat up hearing her mother's voice. But her eyes become wide in confusion when she saw Lucas.

Bella: Baby he is Mr. Lucas Costanzo.

Lucas: Hey Rachel.

He extended his hand forward for a handshake but Rachel folded her arms on her chest.

Bella: Baby don't do this. He is a friend of mine...he is a good uncle.

Rachel: Really?

She asked while looking at him. He nodded his head and she grabbed his hand and smiled.

Rachel: Hello Mr. handsome.

Bella: That's not his name. You can just call him uncle.

Rachel: Mumma he will look old if I call him uncle and also he is so handsome. So I will call him Mr. handsome only.

Lucas: It's fine. You can call me whatever you want.

Bella: Ok enough of the talks. Let's eat first. You were hungry right?

They all had their food and Lucas left for his office from there. He really liked Rachel. She is a good kid, so obedient and cute. She talked to him a lot about herself which he patiently listened.

Lucas head back to his house after the breakfast. But he had asked one of his guards to inform him when Rachel was taken.

Bella was feeling nervous as each hour passed. But she still try to stay strong for Rachel. She smiled because she don't want her to be afraid.

Finally it was Rachel's turn for surgery. The guard has already informed Lucas about this,who was on his way to hospital. He reached the hospital quickly and went towards the ward.

He was met with a sight of crying Bella who was holding Rachel's hand tightly and was encouraging her.

Rachel: Mumma stop crying. I will win this and then little devil will leave.

Bella: Yes baby. You have to win. You need to come back to me,okay?

Rachel: Where would I go without you?

Bella: Listen to what the doctors are saying, okay?

Lucas was watching this emotional conversation between mother an daughter. Such a strong girl. Not afraid of surgery. He was proud of Rachel.
