Chapter Eight_ You Lost Consciousness

Valerie POV

"Her kid is fine, yet at a similar she's malnourished and stressed." After hearing someone speak, I tried to open my eyes, but my eyelids seemed so heavy. "She's barely a month pregnant, and she's risking the presence of the child here by starving herself, I mean she's even got dried out, who does that during pregnancy?" The irate voice of a lady made me force my eyes open, just to comprehend that I'm at this point in a center room. When I looked at myself, the women in my room gave me a firm stare before putting a smile on their faces. Are you awake, sir? One of them inquired as if she were visually impaired or something similar. "Where do I belong?" I dismissed her junk words. "We brought you here after you out of nowhere blacked out at the entry of our ICU division." As the other individual described, I unexpectedly recalled how I left my mom's room. "Presently, I'm greatly improved." As I tried to get up, I said. He stated, "You're not supposed to move an inch, young lady." An older woman said to me as she rushed behind me and helped me get back on the bed. "Apologies, but..." She prevented me from concluding my sentence prior to beginning her speech. "For appropriate recovery, you should go through the whole day in this clinic, and where could the dad of your kid be?" I didn't wait for her to finish before getting out of bed and removing the cannula that connected the IV fluid in the tube to the vein in my hand. You want someone to get your stuff and... One of the ladies assisted me with a cotton fleece, and I wouldn't fret the modest quantity of blood that emerged. She stated that I was not taking any, and the woman standing next to me began, "You can't leave without legitimate... " I'm having a hard time paying for my mother's medical expenses right now, and now they want me to spend the night in the emergency room bed. I told them before taking off my hospital gown, "Much obliged, but I really want to go." "OK, in the event that you say as much, however I want to explain to you why you tumbled to the ground. Without skipping a beat, as an expecting mother, you really want to hydrate to avoid parchedness. For both you and the hatchling, you should shun putting a lot of weight on yourself. Now, meet the clerk." When her speech was over, she left the room. I stood on the ground floor and carried my belongings on the stool. At the point when I gave her my Visa, the clerk charged me ten bucks, and I practically sobbed. As I walked to the restaurant near the hospital, I consumed a lot of food. I haven't eaten in the entire day, and the sky is already getting dark. As I left the café, the guest ID on my telephone made me scowl as it rang. "Good day, sir." She is the head of a particular organization for which I work part-time as a secretary; I didn't show up today. "Valerie, Please accept my apologies, yet somebody more qualified than you and, surprisingly, more serious than you will at any point be has assumed control over your situation. The manager stated, "I will send you your month's pay." She said over the phone before she disconnected me. I quickly dialed a number while robbing my temple with my index finger. "Hello, Daisy." I said over the phone as soon as the call connected. "Is everything OK, I didn't see your brake light today?" She asked. "I had a bad day today, but..." I hesitated a little because I was unsure of how to phrase the question I needed to ask her. "For sure, yes my perfect Val, I covered for you, I know the sum you truly need the cash, I can't permit it to move beyond you." As I responded to her, I didn't realize I had been taking a deep breath. A lone tear plunged my cheeks, she made me feel truly centered around. I couldn't help but want to scream at the thought of the last time anyone made me feel this special. "Oh. Make an effort not to boorish rascal young woman, what are allies for, I got your back okay, so go take some rest She said; I motioned like she could see me then hung up. I signaled a taxi to take me to First Class Eatery by waving down. Once I was seated, I picked up my phone and called Sonia's number, but she did not answer. She must be at a significant gathering, I suppose. My work day at the bar completed pretty fast, and I ate at a local eatery returning. I quickly went to my room when I got back to Sonia's condo. I moved toward an imagined universe as soon as my back hit the delicate bed. I opened my eyes in response to the rays of light streaming into the room through the window. As I searched for my phone, I sat up to check the time and covered my mouth in confusion. "Why did I sleep for so long?" I yelled, then pulled the duvet away. I ran to the bathroom and poured all of the food I had consumed that night into the sink when I felt the urge to vomit when the tiled floor hit my bare feet. To dispose of my sickness, I washed my mouth and lowered myself in the bath. I all of a sudden lost my craving, without eating anything, I progressed toward the major doorway of Sonia's space ready to get going the day. In any case, Sonia came in with a miserable articulation when the entryway opened all things considered, which terrified me to death. "What's up… " Before I got an opportunity to complete my inquiry, she gave me an embrace. I hugged her back, thinking that the issue had to do with her job. "Everything is fine, Babe." To urge her to quit crying, I praised her, yet she wouldn't take any of it. "Val, I'm going to tell you something that will make you sadder than I am right now," I said. Now that her words are alarming me to death and, in all genuinely, it isn't entertaining in any capacity. "Sonia, what's up, don't amaze me to death," I said. I attempted to major areas of strength for act asking while at the same time placing my hand on her shoulder and investigating her eyes to urge her to shout out. "Promise me that you will not flip out, I ensure we will overcome this especially like we by and large do." She was trying to get me ready for devastating bad news. Right now, I can sense its weight. "My manager fired me because I made a mistake, and they asked me to leave the house in two days because it is the property of the company," she murmured when I didn't respond.
