The boss lady keenly noticed something different about her. The smile on her face faded slightly, and she answered more cautiously.
Lucie smiled and didn't say anything.
"I want two tambourines, one big and one small." She lifted the tambourines and found them even more interesting.
"Alright, that will be a total of one hundred."
Lucie nodded and was about to take out the money when she realized her wallet was empty.
She burst into laughter, surprisingly unconcerned.
"Boss lady, I don't have cash, and it seems like my phone was stolen. Can I wait here for my husband to come and pay you?"
The boss lady's expression changed, obviously not the first time she encountered such a situation.
Indignantly, she said, "These thieves are always rampant. Despite the increasing security measures, tourists still get their things stolen!"
