Gu Best Company

A week later…..

Rosalina's flight was booked back to Korea after she was done with her work in California, and it was truly an honor for her as they treated her like a superstar or a big shot.

Until now, she knew that she was becoming more and more popular.

Trending on the internet all over the country, she was sure they must have discovered her in her own country. However, she still doubted it because it was a new life experience to suddenly find yourself in another new world, living your life as a public figure.

She remembered that while in California, she had met many celebrities and popular models, most of whom praised her beauty and her great figure.

Settled in the second-class upper plane, she relaxed, thinking about how much she had missed and worrying about her kids.

The flight took off and landed safely at Incheon International Airport.

Rosalina was tired from the long day of flying. She had left California at 10 am and took an 11-hour flight to reach Incheon International Airport.

It was 9:30 pm, late at night…

Rosalina knew her kids must be sleeping as her mind drifted off to thoughts of them.

She walked to the waiting car with her luggage, and the chauffeur helped her take it to the car booth. They drove off to Rosalina's house.

The car pulled off as Rosalina stepped out, got her luggage, and tiredly dragged it to the elevator to her floor.

She rang the doorbell, and the door opened after the maid confirmed her face through the screen. The maid opened the door and bowed politely.

"Welcome, ma'am," the two maids greeted, and she nodded her head in response, looking tired.

"How are my kids?" She asked the maids, referring to Joon Ah and Joon Woo.

"They're in their room," one of the maids replied, while the other helped Rosalina take her luggage to her room.

Rosalina walked to her kids' room and tucked them in. She pulled the duvet over Joon Ah, kissed her forehead, and the little girl woke up.

"Mommy," the little girl called with a sleepy voice and hugged her mother's neck.

"Oh, my little girl, go back to sleep, okay? We'll talk in the morning," Rosalina said, helping her lay back down. She then moved to Joon Woo's bed.

She rubbed his hair, kissed his cheeks, and softly said, "Good night," with a smile on her face, feeling happy and at peace seeing her two kids looking fine.

She left their room and went to her own.

"I'm so hungry right now, but I'm too tired to sit up and eat," she muttered to herself tiredly. She took a quick shower, changed into something comfortable, and walked to bed, lying down and closing her eyes to doze off.

"Hello, CEO Gu Won, I'm surprised to see you at the company today," the managing director Lee Ji-Ho, who was also Lee Gu Won's cousin, said with a smile.

"Can I not come to my company whenever I like?" Lee Min Ho replied with a smirk.

"Haha, of course, it's just that you have other companies to manage, so I thought you must be busy, considering it's been a week since you last came to the company," Director Ji-Ho said, with a light chuckle, as they walked into Lee Min Ho's office.

"I'm here today to discuss the new brand of clothes the company is about to promote and release," Lee Gu Won said, sitting in his office chair, while Lee Ji-Ho sat down to listen.

"Okay, well, I have selected some models from two agencies that are big shots to sign a contract with us for our brand promotion. I'm very confident that it's going to be a huge collaboration with the agencies I picked," Ji-Ho reported on the company's plans for their new release to achieve great sales and profits.

"I have someone in mind to promote our new brands. She's a model who is currently trending and has collaborated with four companies in California. I want her to sign a contract with our brand," Lee Gu Won said, turning his laptop to Ji-Ho to show pictures of the model he was referring to.

Ji-Ho looked at the lady in the pictures, admiring her beauty, innocent face, great figure, and nice skin tone. He was lost in staring at the pictures, appreciating the beauty on the screen.

"She truly has everything that any brand would want in a collaborator. However, don't you think we should use popular models to reach our target audience?" Lee Ji-Ho suggested what he thought was best for them.

"I want her for this. Just follow my instructions," Lee Gu Won said, making Ji-Ho suspicious about his intentions.

"Is there something special about this lady? Don't tell me…" Ji-Ho couldn't finish his sentence before Gu Won interrupted him.

"That's all I need to tell you. I have sent my assistant to take care of contacting her," Gu Won said, standing up from his seat, while Ji-Ho looked at him, chuckling.

"There's something fishy about you," Ji-Ho said with a smirk, touching his shoulder before leaving the office.

Ji-Ho was Gu Won's cousin, and they were very close, like friends and brothers. Despite being older than Gu Won by just a year, Ji-Ho was often the immature one who annoyed Gu Won at times.

After Lee Gu Won had finished with him, he left the company for another meeting.

Rosalina had been busy with her laptop, checking her Instagram page and some other social media platforms to share pictures from her shoots in California. She then decided to post a job vacancy for a personal assistant, as Kevin had advised her to get one to make things easier.

After posting the job vacancy, she shut her laptop to take a break, finishing the last cup of coffee on the table.

She stood up, walked out of her room to check on her kids, and found them playing in the living room.

She smiled at seeing them playing happily, sat on the sofa, and took the TV remote to watch while Joon Ah and Joon Won played with their toys.

As she watched TV, her phone rang. She glanced at the phone and saw it was an unknown number. She hesitated at first but eventually answered when the number called again.

"📞Hello, is this Ms. Kim Yoona?" the voice on the other end asked calmly and politely.

"📞Yes, who am I speaking with?" she replied softly, wondering who it was.

"📞I'm calling from Gu Best Company. We have learned that you're a model from California and currently in Korea. We would like to work with you. Can we meet to discuss this further?" the caller said politely.

Rosalina was surprised to receive a call from such a prestigious company. Everyone in Korea knew about Gu Best's success and popularity among similar companies.

It took Rosalina a moment before she replied, "📞I'm not sure what to make of this, but if we need to meet to discuss this, please send me the address."

"📞I'll send you the address for our meeting tomorrow at 9:30 am," the caller said.

"📞Okay, I'll look into it when you send the details. Thank you, Mr…?" Rosalina said softly, unsure how to address the caller.

"📞I'm the assistant to the CEO, Assistant Dae Hyun," the caller responded politely.

"Okay, thank you, Mr. Dae Hyun," Rosalina said as the call ended.

Uncertain of how to feel about the opportunity, Rosalina knew the company that wanted to collaborate with her was a big deal. However, she wasn't overly excited as she had already collaborated with popular brands in California.

"This is getting serious, buried with my modeling profession now… I need a personal assistant," Rosalina muttered to herself. She switched off the TV, returned to her room, and checked her laptop. She had received five applications from a company, all women, interested in the PA position. She decided to interview them and found one who was the best fit for her needs.

"💬 You should come to the address I just sent now to start. This is urgent, which is why I posted the job vacancy," she texted to the chosen candidate.

Satisfied with her choice, she closed her laptop.

The door opened slowly, and Joon Ah and Joon Won entered her room.

"Mommy, we want to go out with the nanny," Joon Ah said cutely.

"Joon Won, go call the nanny here," Rosalina instructed the little boy.

"Okay, mommy," Joon Won replied, running out to fetch the nanny and returning with her.

"Hello, ma'am," the nanny greeted politely with a bow.

"They said you're taking them out? Please look after them well," Rosalina said to the nanny before turning to her kids.

"Make sure you stay close to her and behave well when you're out, okay?" she advised her kids, who nodded happily and left with the nanny.

"Ah, I need a nap," Rosalina said, yawning as she laid back to rest.

She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
