"Grandma and dad are stuck in traffic." She told Lisa who was giving a child a makeover.

"My dad too. But don't worry. I'm sure they'll be here on time. We still have an hour left."

She sighed and smiled. "Yeah. You're right."

"Ms Jane." One of the workers called. She left Lisa to the man. The two of them spoke about the stage settings.

"Everything is fine." Jane spoke. "The lighting?" She asked.

"We're still fixing that ma'am. But it'll be done in no time."

"Okay that's..... "

"Aunt Jane..." A child who was around twelve years called. She immediately pulled her attention to the child and squatted to her level.

"Yes baby. What's the matter?"

"There's a handsome young man right outside looking for you."

A smile lit her face because she knew who it was already. "Okay. Thank you Hannah." Pinching her cheeks softly. "Go get dress now."

The child nodded and left. She quickly stood up and rushed outside. She ran in for a tight hug. "Thank you." Pulling away from the hug.

He poked her nose. "How's it going?"

"Better now that you're here." She said blushing.

He placed a kiss on her forehead. And a person clearing her throat caused them to draw their attention to her.

"Granny....." She screamed in excitement and went to her for a tight hug. "I've missed you so much grandma."

"You know, if you guys wanted to do something crazy, they're hotels nearby." She teased.

Jane instantly pulled away from the hug, now looking really embarrassed.

"I agree." Lisa's dad piped in.

She felt more embarrassed as she saw uncle Maxwell, her dad and Lisa's. She shyly went to kiss their cheeks, welcoming them. The four of them laughed at the poor girl noticing how embarrassed she suddenly became.

Lisa's dad patted her head. "I think we should leave these two lover birds alone." He said and they laughed again, as if enjoying the look on her face.

Uncle Maxwell went and shook Francis hand, as if welcoming him to the family, so as the rest. Her grandma stood in front of him cupping his face.

"You're so handsome dear. But don't let anything come close to my granddaughter. Okay?" She smiled.

"Okay ma'am." Spoke the guy who had been still the entire time.

She kissed him on the forehead and followed the three gentlemen inside. She looked at him and her cheeks had turned red from embarrassment. She hadn't experienced such a thing before in her life and the four of them, especially her grandma looked extremely happy to see them together.

"I think we should go inside now. There's still somethings I have to assist with." She spoke.

He walked to her and placed a short kiss on her lips. She felt relief after the short kiss. They entwined their hands together walking into the back stage.

Thirty minutes left for the show to commence. Jane and Lisa with the help of their guardians were busy getting the children dressed for heir dance performance, acting and singing. Some of them already had their costumes on. Jane and Lisa left the rest to the guardians, for them to handle it. They had to spare sometime for themselves to also get dressed for their adult acts.

Shortly, they came out. Jane was putting on a long free white gown covering her legs. Her hair was packed up to a bun. Lisa wore a similar thing, but lesser in terms of status. Lisa's dress was milky white. They'll be acting an adult short drama to also entertain the adults.

Five minutes left for the show to begin and a woman called out to Jane.

"Ma'am Jane..."

"Yes Ms Margaret. What is the matter?" She asked, seeing the worried expression painted on her face.

"There's a big problem. Jacob just called that his mother was rushed to the hospital. He can't make it anymore."

Jacob was supposed to act along side with them. He was also part of the main character.

Everywhere had gone quiet hearing the bad news. An adult show should always be displayed every year. They were saddened because this time around, there won't be no adult show. Lisa and Jane were totally dumbstruck, having no idea on what to do.

"Is his mom alright?" Jane finally spoke.

"I don't know ma'am. He spoke no further and hung the call."

Jane sighed bitterly. She looked at Lisa. Lisa's eyes were also telling her that she have no idea on what to do next.

"Okay now. The show is about starting. Warm up guys." Lisa spoke in a cheering voice trying to bring in life to the dead room.

"Mr handsome, please help us out, will you?"

Everyone turned to the direction of the six year old girl who stood in front of Francis, that was sitting down quietly in a corner, probably lost in his own thoughts.
