Becoming a birthing chamber is usually the fate of those who have been captured by monsters, usually women. Men can also be used as birthing chamber, giving birth to offspring of monsters until they die as well, but they are more commonly used as breeders instead, as long as they have desirable qualities and traits.
And after their usefulness as breeders has expired, the men will become foods for their offspring. That is one gruesome way to go out, but I suppose that they get to see Heaven before being slowly sent to Hell.
It is a far more better fate than most victims had, to be honest. And I almost had the same fate as well, but I got smarter. Only idiots would allow themselves to be eaten alive by their children. I straight up murder them all and escape.
Eh. Not sure why I am remembering that unpleasantness right now, and thus, I severe the connection with the insect, returning my consciousness back to my original body.
Without delay, I select a relatively undamaged corpse from my Inventory and place it before me. With a quick glance, the cause of death is severe loss of blood. The monster that slashed up the man likely die by a hail of bullets. Otherwise, the man would have been dismembered.
Since his body is still in one piece, I can make use of it with my Spiritual Power. With the same power, I can probably bring him back from the dead, as he has not been dead for that long, but it is very risky to turn someone into an undead, whose naturally despise all living things.
But without his Soul inside his body, I cannot use magic through him. With his mind gone, I also cannot make use of Psionic Power either. Vital Power is possible, as his body has not decayed that much… Ah, I am thinking too much again.
I will take whatever possible. First, let me pump him full of Spiritual Energy.
And since he is just a corpse, I do no need to restrain myself like I had done so with Stellar. It isn't like I have to worry about him becoming braindead. He is already braindead. He is also soulless.
While I do that, I use some of the Spiritual Energy to forcefully open all of his meridians and pathways, allowing him to reach the Martial Realm.
Spiritual Power is the basis of Cultivation, and for a living person, they have to do it in steps to prevent themselves from dying. For a recently deceased, that is not necessary, and I suppose that is one of the secret techniques to rapidly cultivate.
It is also extremely risky since the person might remain dead after having their Cultivation Level raised through such brutal method. Oh, they will also be in excruciating pain. A small price to pay for power.
But since I am using the corpse as an avatar of sort, the risk to myself is almost nonexistence.
There is a cost, however, and it is in term of Spiritual Energy. Lots and lots of Spiritual Energy, but since I have unlimited amount of Spiritual Energy thanks to my Transcended Soul, it is not really that much of a cost.
As that is the case, I forcefully reinforce all of his meridians and pathways rapidly, forcing him to reach pinnacle Martial Realm immediately. Without his Soul, it is not possible to push him pass the Martial Realm and into the Spiritual Realm, but that doesn't mean I cannot pump him full of Spiritual Energy!
The Cultivation Realms is a spoiler for Peerless Harem, which focus on Cultivation first.
Since this story happens in a shared universe, magic, cultivation, pisonic and other powers are pretty much the same, so you only really need to read one to know the whole Power System.
