On how to save myself, a Tyrant

In short, I was reborn as a soon-to-be-killed tyrant. As a villainous character of a book. My just-met-husband is bedridden. But even if not, he's too lazy to care for nothing but his sweet leisure days. My so-called family only knows how to covet my position. They are too busy finding ways to steal away my fortune. How can they have enough time to spare in my wellbeing? Whether I live or die, that's none of their business, anyway. Lately, I don't why, yet I cannot help but feel there's too many people wanting to hunt me down. Perhaps due to the fact I've eaten three poisoned cakes, stumbled upon five rare deathly cursed objects and got stabbed twice, just this week. Do note that this is only the prelude. —Breathe in and out. Don't panic... Hey! At least find a place to be buried before go and faint! What's the use of crying? *** Now, then. Ways to escape CERTAIN death? Anyone?!

Preface

Time after time, for some unknown reason, mid-way through the story, the soon-to-be-tyrant lady Mariesol kept regaining her past life memories. Knowing that she was a hideous villainess and that she was bound to hell.

At first, she tried to change her ways and save herself. But everything always went wrong. Her ends were just worsening. For her enemies, though, they only knew of happy endings.

Later, she lost it. Trying to kill the main characters even before they put a foot in the set. At times, she wasn't even supposed to be such a cruel villainess, but a soft-hearted lady. All to make of the protagonist herself and avoid death. She kept leading the plot stray.

Unable to endure this any longer, God-writer decided to make a huge change as he smashed his first novel's fairly just female lead into that twisted, yet poor woman. He switched them both, in soul and body. Sending the broken villainess to a place she may find peace and the upright heroine to where a hell awaits. Not at all bias, indeed. By doing so, he actually saved himself a great deal of worrying while rewriting this second book of him, not doubt.

However, the not-least-pitiful-first-book-female-lead girl had just caught her man, the handsome and gentle male lead, but did not even get a kiss from him when her vision went blurred, she stopped breathing.

*At another world under the ruling of the magic arts.*

Inside a grand manor, a beautiful young lady dressed in the finest of dresses opened her eyes to face a chill, lonely hallway. She revealed a confused look, as if not knowing where she stood, where she was. But soon, her eyes widened in terror, for she did not fail to recognize what her hands were wrapping into at the time: a long, shining red, blood-dripping knife.

Clank.

"....ahhhhhhh!"
