Also, this world can be considered an AU. I tried to add it to the tag but I couldn't find it so I have just mentioned it in the synopsis.

'Is it better if I don't exist.' Shizu thought to herself as she looked at her friend's face. The look of fear and terror shook Shizu's heart and she felt like running away but stopped herself.

"I...I Am-m fi-n..e" Silica said with a shuttering voice as she looked at the worried Shizu. She already knew of Shizu's situation so she wasn't surprised because of her transformation but still the hands of death she felt still sent shivers through her body.

Looking at her burning hands she she tried to apply a healing potion she took out from her inventory but failed due to her shaking hand and it fell to the ground.

Seeing her friend in such a condition Shizu got worried and picked up the healing potion and tried to apply it to Silica's hand.

But as if by instinct Silica quickly moved her hand out of Shizu's way, after all even though the fire spirit had taken over it still looked like Shizu.

"Ah, I am sorry," Silica said as she saw her behavior.

"Do-on't worry," Shizu said as she applied the potion on her friend's hands.

"It's my fault." She continued, Silica could see the look of sadness and pain on her face.

That brought Silica out of her confused state and cleared her mind.

"It's not your fault, it's that spirit's fault so don't blame yourself," Silica said as she gave a big and gentle hug to Shizu.

Hearing her friend's words she remained silent and didn't give a reply. Silica also noticed it but didn't say anything and continued to give her a hug as she knew Shizu was currently having a difficult mental battle.

The locals had already called the guards or let's say some combatants that live here and they had already arrived but seeing as the incident was over they checked if the fire had spread to any dangerous places.

They ignored Shizu and Silica as they knew what had transpired here and they knew Shizu in fact some of them could be even called short-term disciples of Shizu.

"Shizu let's go home, it will be better for you if you have a good rest," Silica said as she looked at Shizu with worried eyes.

"Ok." Shizu simply replied and looked at Silica.

As they say, eyes are doorways to the soul so Silica looking at Shizu's eyes could somewhat guess what was going through her mind.

"Shizu let me tell you again it's not your fault so don't blame yourself. And see you suppressed it quickly so no one was severely hurt." Silica said as she grabbed both of Shizu's shoulders with her hands. 

What Silica said was true as even her injury which may look severe was already almost healed due to a single healing potion.

Shizu didn't give a reply and silently started to walk toward the direction of Silica's house.

"Sigh, this girl," Silica muttered as she looked at Shizu's back and started following her.

'Hope she doesn't do something stupid.' Silica thought as she walked next to Shizu.

The people in the surroundings then continued on with their own work, after all almost everybody here is a scholar or the same or higher rank in some way so such types of incidents may scare them but won't disturb their entire day.

Plus with Silica being with Shizu they won't even dare to complain or raise their voice.

As Shizu entered Silica's house she made her way toward her room and closed the door. Currently, she doesn't have the ability to look at Silica's face as it reminds Shizu of the look of fear that Silica had when she looked at her.

Shizu just plunged her head on the bed and closed her eyes. Currently, she wanted to cry and let her heart out, she wanted to shout out the frustration in her heart but she stopped herself.

As Shizu was lost in deep thought she fell asleep without even realizing it as all of the mental fatigue caught up to her.

Seeing her friend bold away Silica didn't say anything as she knew that Shizu needed some alone time.

"Agg, why is this so stressful," Silica muttered as she sat down on the sofa. Looking at the bottle of wine on the table in front of her she picked it up and opened up the bottle.

And then as if it was water she started to chug it without even stopping for a breath.

"Aggg, Why do I have to suffer from such a situation?" She shouted as she put down the now empty bottle of wine. There was a red hue on her face and it can be said that she was drunk.

"You idiot you should have controlled your emotions better. Now you only added to Shizu's trouble." She said to herself as she gave herself a slow slap.

"Hmmmm." She murmured as she laid her head on the sofa.

"Maybe I should also get a boyfriend... Nah not my style." She muttered as she looked at the ceiling.

As she was staring at the ceiling she closed her eyes and in a matter of seconds, she fell asleep.

Even in the realm of dreams, her nightmare didn't end as she continued to dream about today's incident. Not only that she started to dream about all those close to her showing the same face as they looked at her.

In her dream just as she was about to kill someone close to her she woke up with a deep breath.

She was sweating and taking deep and fast breaths, calming herself down she looked at her room.

Then she looked outside the window and saw that it was still night. She quietly left her room as she didn't want to disturb her friend.

Walking through the living room she saw her friend sleeping on the sofa but as she looked at her face the vision from her nightmare came into her head.

Without even a second thought she left the house and started to run away. She was currently scared that her nightmare would come true and she would lose someone precious to her.

All her rational thoughts were gone and only negative emotions remained in her mind. She put on her mask and continued to run.

She ran and ran without stopping, she had already got out of the city and was approaching the cliff in front of her at high speed.

Without even a second thought she jumped off the branch and started to free fall, she thought like ending herself here but then the face of her friend flashed through her mind and she then imagined her sad look when she found her dead body.

With that flame's wings started to sprout out of her back and her freefall stopped, she took a last look at the city and then started to fly away from there.

She flew at a speed ten times faster than sound and as this city was quite near the border of Sarion in a matter of hours she exited the country.

Her current goal was the S rank dungeon as she had heard of it being quite infamous due to the death of so many A+ rank adventurers. Perhaps it is a good place for her to end her life so that she may never hurt anybody close to her. 

Some hours after Shizu had left Silica also woke up from her nap and a severe hangover started to be felt by her.

"Agg, Shouldn't have drunk that." She muttered and then noticed that her house gate was open. 

A bad feeling struck her and she quickly rushed toward Shizu's room finding it open and empty.

"You Idiot." She shouted and took out a crystal ball from her storage ring.

She quickly activated it and the image of a man in high-ranking Sarion military grade was shown.

"What can I do for you Head Alchemist." The man asked in a respectful tone.

"Captain Bullfried, I want you to search for someone," Silica said in an argent tone and sent a photo of Shizu.

"We will try but if she has already left the country we won't be of much help, Head Alchemist." The man said as he looked at Shizu's photo.

"I understand, then please do your best," Silica said and stopped the call.
