Ch.16 The World (Tensura)

Inside a dangerous monster-infested forest, you can see two people walking while talking with each other. Those two people of course are Shizu and our protagonist Ryuu.

"So Shizu san can you tell me how this power works" I ask Shizu. Well, I know it but why act suspicious when you don't have to? Plus, I can't guarantee that it will be the same as in the manga and novels.

"Ah yes, I should give you general information about this world. You see the most accepted power system is the Free Guild ranking system."

"Free Guild ranking"

"Yes, it was created by Yuuki, and it classifies monsters and other hostiles by taking into account a variety of variables such as Magicule Count, Physical Strength, Defensive Capabilities, Speed, Skills, and Intelligence. Average rankings are often given to an entire species, with further reclassification being given to specific individuals based on special factors like the possession of equipment and arts."

"I see, so how are the rankings" I asked with a tone laced with curiosity like any other worlder would normally have.

"They are classified from E to special S rank."

So, it's the same then if my memory serves me right which it will the Free Guild gave a threat level for each rank like this.

· F Rank: A ranking assigned to those who possess little to no combat capabilities.

· E Rank: A ranking assigned to those who possess power equivalent to the average Human adult.

· D Rank: A ranking assigned to those who have power equivalent to a soldier, requiring a group of at least 3 or 4 average humans to defeat.

· C Rank: A ranking assigned to those who have power equivalent to or above an experienced soldier with professional training.

· B Rank: A ranking assigned to threats that have the potential to wipe out an entire village singlehandedly.

· A Rank: A ranking assigned to threats that have the potential to severely damage an entire town, requiring the deployment of several high-ranking adventurers or a nation's knights to be taken care of.

· Special-A Rank: A ranking assigned to threats that have the potential to destroy a small-sized nation, requiring the deployment of a nation's army or a Champion-class individual to defeat.

· S Rank: A ranking assigned to Demon Lords and those of equivalent power, requiring a large nation's entire military and the deployment of their Champions to defeat.

· Special-S Rank: A ranking assigned to threats that no singular nation could hope to stand up against, such as True Demon Lords and True Dragons. It is believed that such threats can only be dealt with by the intervention of a Chosen Hero.

I can say that up to special A rank it will be somewhat accurate, S rank can happen but special S rank has too big of a power diversity.

"So Shizu san what is your adventure rank."

"My adventurer rank is special A."

"Special A you must be very strong. Are you some kind of hero"?

"No, No I am not that strong, and as for being a hero that can't be further from the truth."

"You are not a hero so are there any heroes in this world."

"No, currently the world doesn't have any hero."

No hero so I shouldn't be that far from Cannon's story and from looking at the condition of Shizu using my sage eyes I can say that she has Ifrit somewhat under control.

"Then so how strong am I in comparison" This is one of the most important questions as depending on the answer I have to formulate my future plans. Looking at the world I can say that the average person here will be stronger than the average human of my world. So I have to find my power level.

"You should be about A rank in terms of strength"

"A rank cool" so that my strength level. My current race is only human or perhaps enlightened.

'True Sage what is my current race'

'Human so how long till I become Enlightened.'

"I know you are A rank but don't overestimate yourself ok" Shizu said to me with a serious tone.

"Don't worry Shizu san that's the last thing I will do" I say.

"You should as if not it could lead to your death"

"I know...., Shizu san can you teach me"

"Teach you???" she asks with a puzzled expression.

"Yes you are strong and a better swordman than me"

"No my swordsmanship isn't better than yours I just have more practice and more fighting instinct," She said to me and I already knew that but still learning new things never hurts. As much as I know she was taught by Chronoa so her swordsmanship has some parts of one of the strongest True Hero's swordsmanship.

"So can you fight me till I make my own fighting instinct?"

After thinking for a while, she said" Sure, let's start tomorrow then."

"Understood so can you tell me our current location and other locations in the world"

"Of course, let's start with the countries first. The countries are mostly divided into two parts The Eastern Empire and the Western Council. The eastern empire being one big country and the western council being a group of various western countries."

"The western countries being Holy Ruberian Empire, Kingdom of Ingrasia, Kingdom of Farmas and other various western countries."

"Both of them are mostly divided by the Great Jura Forest."

"So are there other countries" I asked

"Of course, the Elves mostly live in The Sorcerous Sarion Dynasty, and the dwarves mostly live in Warrior Nation Dwargon."

"So, I asked about heroes before so are there any demon lords."

"Yes there are 10 to be exact and they are called The Ten Great Demon Lords."

"Ten then they must have their own countries right."

"Yes, most of them do."

"I see this must be quite a dangerous world."

"Yes, it is and Demon lords are dangerous so if you run into one don't think anything else and just run."

"I will keep that in mind but if there are no heroes and so many demon lords why haven't they taken over the world yet."

"Well it's mostly due to the Holy Ruberian Empire and their Ten great Saint who are squad to be as strong as a demon lord and they are led by Hinata."

"I see" so Hinata is already a Saint, So I should be before Cannon by a maximum of 6 yrs and a minimum of 1 yr.

"Also, our current location is in the forest near the border of the kingdom of Ingrasia."

After that, she also told me about the money system and other general things about the world that may be helpful for me in the future.
