Ch.145 Utaha(2)

"You know,.. since I already owe you a life, why don't I become your girlfriend?"

Utaha asked in a joking tone but if you look at her eyes you can see the seriousness hidden in her eyes.

No matter what her tone of voice suggested her thoughts couldn't be moved seriously. Alas, Ryuu didn't notice, perhaps he did after all by no means he can be considered a human at this point.

"Although that wouldn't be bad, but maybe not."

Ryuu replied in a joking tone as there was a smile on his face, hearing his words disappointment flashed through Utaha's eyes but it disappeared as quickly as it appeared.

"I guess...."

After saying that she became silent as she got lost in her thoughts, Ryuu also remained silent looking outside the window.

"Ryuu.."

After a while, a soft voice called out to him, there was a hint of vulnerability in the voice. The tone of voice uncharacteristic of Utaha surprised Ryuu, after all, he had only heard her talk like this years back.

"Yes?"

Ryuu asked as he looked at Utaha's face, weakness and doubt were flashing through her face. A look that stirred Ryuu's heart as memories of the past started to appear in his mind.

"I wonder... are you free this coming Saturday?"

She asked as she looked at Ryuu with eyes filled with hope, her different than normal behavior caught Ryuu by surprise and he unconsciously replied.

"Yes.."

"Then wanna go on a date with me."

"What??"

Hearing her words Ryuu's mind came to a halt as he asked the question to make sure if he had heard it wrong or not.

[Master there is no problem with your hearing.]

True Sage's reply sounded in his head, for some reason he had an illusion that she was pouting.

Removing unnecessary thoughts from his head he opened his mouth to talk, but before he could even talk Utaha cut his words off.

"I mean can you go on a shopping trip with me?"

"After all my father is away in the army, and Machida san is busy the coming Saturday. So I was wondering if you could come with me."

Hearing her reply Ryuu was surprised. So he thought for a while again before replying.

"What about Chi.."

"Well, it is understandable if you don't want to come with me. After all, what am I to you, just a classmate?"

Utaha cut his words again, as her words rang out. Her voice was soft, so much so that it sounded like she was almost going to cry.

Adding to that the abandoned dog-like eyes she was giving him didn't help the situation. As for how much of her words and expressions are true only she knows.

After all, it could be a genuine reaction or perhaps an attempt to guilt-trip Ryuu. Well, it is most likely a combination of both.

"Sure.."

Unable to bear with her eyes anymore Ryuu replied, hearing his reply a smile more beautiful than any flower bloomed on her face.

Due to both of them sitting in a car and being in so close proximity, looking at her beautiful smile even mesmerized Ryuu.

[Master..]

True Sage's voice woke him up as his face turned a little red as he turned his face to look at the window of the car.

Too bad Utaha was so lost in her happiness that she didn't see this scene, after all, if she had seen it her happiness would have multiplied by a thousandfold.

Though there was one person in the car who saw this scene, it was the only person who faked the act of sleeping.

Listening to the conversation between them was not that difficult for her but the scene of Ryuu blushing almost made her lose control of her body.

After all, this was something that she hadn't made Ryuu do for her and so seeing it being done by her rival gave her damage so big that it was incalculable.

Controlling her body she gritted her teeth and made plans for the future when her turn came.

As for Sora and Yukino, they are blissfully sleeping using Ryuu's body as the bed and the pillow.

None the less for the people seeing from the outside without knowing the inner story this will look like a peaceful moment.

However, there is a person who is currently sweating buckets and that is the driver. As for why he is sweating bucket because he heard everything going in the back.

Although not much he knows some of the inside story as she directly works under Ai.

'I guess no more beer for me.'

He lamented in his mind as he continued to drive, after all, if he somehow released this conversation and Ai found out he wouldn't even know how he disappeared from this world.

"Sora wake up."

Ryuu called out in a gentle voice as he looked at the sleeping figure of Sora in his embrace, hearing his voice her face changed a little.

"Pick me, brother."

She spoke in a soft voice as she let go of her body and let it fall into Ryuu's embrace. Seeing her behavior he sighed as a gentle smile appeared on his face.

"You spoiled girl."

He spoke as he pinched her nose, Sora showed no reaction so he gently picked her up and put her in a comfortable position.

"You know Ryuu, you spoil her too much."

Yukino's voice called out from the side as she looked at Sora in his embrace with narrowed eyes.

After all, she has a bone to pick with Sora, knowing something about Ryuu but not telling her about it.

"Well, I guess.. I can't help it..."

Ryuu replied as he gave an awkward smile, after all having a sister as cute as Sora how couldn't he spoil her?

"Haaa."

Yukino just sighed but didn't say anything else. With that, both of them entered the house as Yukino closed the door behind her.
