Ch.110 Ryuu vs The Dragon

As Ryuu woke up he stretched his body and looked outside the tent he had erected, it wasn't clear due to the unchanging environment of the dungeon but he was sure that the next day had arrived.

Seeing that not a single monster had been created again he packed up his tent and got ready to cook his food.

As he was doing that he felt a sudden signal, it was the defense mechanism he had installed on the trio. It seemed to have been activated and also broken, this worried him a lot as that shield could even take a hit from a S-rank monster.

[Master I have already tracked down their location, they are currently on the last floor of this dungeon.] True Sage said knowing Ryuu's worries.

[It is also advised to rush to them as their life seems to be in imminent danger.] True Sage added as she gave the information of the general location of the trio.

"Well, thank you, True Sage," Ryuu said as he got ready to move toward the trio.

[It's my pleasure master] True sage replied in a happy voice.

But alas Ryuu didn't hear it or did he, anyway using the technique to increase his speed he charged toward the general direction of the trio.

In that split second, he surpassed the speed of light and moved through the dungeon at rapid speed. All the monsters that were on the floor died before they were even able to notice what happened.

In a matter of a second, he reached the final floor and appeared right in front of the trio who were currently knocked out. Well even if they weren't knocked out they won't recognize him as he was already in his full armor.

Looking at the other side of the trio he saw a huge wave of flames coming his way burning through even the air.

Seeing this he raised his hand and simply created a translucent shield that covered all of them. The flames hit the shield and it was a little damaged but nothing much.

Looking at the trio he used space magic and teleported them to the surface, as for why he didn't use space magic when rushing here, it was simple because it would have been too slow.

As the dragon looked at its majestic flames disappearing it saw a figure of a man clad in armor standing in the place of the trio.

Seeing that somebody new had appeared it released its dragon Haki and dragon fear to see if the new opponent was worth the effort.

Seeing the huge wave of pressure coming his way Ryuu simply released his Hero's haki and energy suppression to counter it. As those two majestic pressures came in contact the entire floor shook and cracks started to form everywhere.

As for why Ryuu didn't use the conqueror's haki, well it was simply weaker than his hero's haki. So just like other types of haki, this one was also quite useless in this world.

Seeing that its enemy countered its aura the Dragon roared issuing a challenge as it stood up and showed all of its majestic glory.

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR

A draconic roar was heard as the once dark room started to get brighter due to the sheer magicule released by the dragon.

As the light came the entire figure of the dragon was seen, it was a western dragon with four majestic dragon wings and stood at a height of a hundred meters.

Its scales were a mixture of red, white, and gold giving it a majestic and divine look, with the four crown-like horns and its majestic golden eyes the dragon gave a feeling of awe to anybody who watched its figure.

Seeing the dragon and the aura it released Ryuu was getting ready to begin the fight when suddenly.

Ryuu got an alert seeing that a quest window had appeared, after all this was the first time a quest had been issued after the changes he made a year ago.

Even when he was fighting Clayman or was pressed down by the pressure of Gee a quest didn't appear but now challenging this dragon a quest had appeared.

He was initially thinking of starting the fight without going all out but it seems like his plans have to change now. Taking a deep breath Ryuu looked deeply into the eyes of the dragon and gave a smile as his fighting will erupted.

Taking his sword out he got ready for action and seeing that its opponent was ready the dragon also got ready for action.

Ryuu suddenly disappeared from his place and before the dragon could even react he was already behind him.

A shallow cut appeared on the scales of the dragon's neck as it looked at the disappeared figure of the Ryuu with surprise. The wound quickly healed and the dragon flew into the sky looking at the figure of Ryuu with caution.

The one most surprised by the turns of even was Ryuu as one of his stronger single-target attacks only managed to give a shallow cut to the dragon's scales.

'Tough'

Ryuu thought as a majestic wave of purplish gold erupted from his body as he looked at the dragon.

Ryuu attacked the dragon with the same technique but this time with ten quick succession, he attacked a single spot and again disappeared from the dragon's view appearing behind the dragon.

The dragon was hurt again as Ryuu was able to cut through the layer of scales around its neck and managed to reach its flesh. Alas, it was too weak and only left a shallow cut as the dragon bled a little.

Ryuu currently was taking deep breaths as he had just pushed his body to the limit before breaking down by using a skill that manipulates reality ten times.

Just as he was about to calm down his breaths the dragon used its tail like a whip and attacked Ryuu with full force. The tail moving at hundreds of times the speed of sound came toward Ryuu and normally Ryuu would have been able to easily dodge it.

But since he was in mid-air and also quite tired due to the continuous use of that technique he was forced to block that attack with his sword.

As both of them connected Ryuu was sent flying toward the wall but quickly stabilized himself in mid-air as he looked at the Dragon.

His skill True Regenaration quickly healed the physical stress endured by his body and he was back in full power. The wound received by the dragon had also healed as it seemed to also have a regeneration skill.

From the small confrontation, Ryuu had with the dragon he could tell that he was massively faster than it but it was way too durable. As for strength, it isn't quite clear but Ryuu should be able to hold his own quite well.

Also, the automatic barrier of his armor broke by that single attack so it won't be quite useful now will it.

The dragon opened its mouth and spewed Ryuu with its majestic golden flames that tried to engulf Ryuu whole.

"Well, two can play this game."

Ryuu spoke as he pointed his hands at the dragon and brilliant white flames flowed out of it rushing toward the dragon's flames.

As the two attacks connected a huge boom was heard as the temperature of the floor reached to such a level that the air turned into liquid plasma and the floor was nothing more than liquid magma and plasma.

The entire floor was currently glowing red hot as the temperature of the room continued to increase. As for the cause of this Ryuu and the Dragon were looking at each other not minding the temperature.
