CHAPTER 10

"Harder!"

I'm currently training Yuki in the dojo beneath our house. I've also given her to help with her training the only problem is that she's not used to them yet and they slso take up a lot of curse energy and with her current reserves she's not able to use them for too long.

I've also recieved the complete payment for yesterdays job. While taking my time to correct some wrong postures she's taking I continue to instruct her on the martial stances i know. Training ends about an hour layer and she's totally spent.

"Thats okay we'll pick this up tomorrow for now try to master the RCT I showed you."

Yuki has good control so I believe she'll be able to grasp how to use it.

Right now i'm going to do my own training, everytime i remember the kind of monsters I'll encounter in the future i feel like I'm not doing enough. Of course thats just how i feel, the fact that im able to trash Jiro is proof of how strong i've gotten and speaking of jiro i just remembered that i didn't kill him.

"Fuck"

That was a blunder on my part. This time around i find myself in an abandoned building about 3 stories tall. You know, broken windows, cracked walls, moss growing everywhere and a huge amount of curse energy permeating the air.

Without hesitation i move into the building, greeted by the the thick oppressive feeling inside. My senses expand and my curse energy moves out in search of the curse.

I pick up the trace and moved in it direction.

"Let's get this over with"

I'm faced with a door leading to the basement,moving in i find myself in a peculiar environment.

"What this? Probably some kind of pseudo domain because i doubt a basement is supposed to be this big"

The space spanned over what would probably take me a car to cover in 15mins. So without wasting anymore time I activated and boosted through the air reaching super sonic speeds and in a mere instance i was above the humanoid looking curse which was sitting in a cross legged position and meditating?

I decided to start out big bringing my hand forward I conjured a ball of pure curse energy qnd compressed it to the extreme while feeding it with a significant portion of my cursed energy about 30%.

The curse having sensed the impending attack looked up to me allowing me to get a full view of its face. A single eye one its forehead and no other facial features what so ever was what i could observe, but even that seemed to be flawed because the next thing i saw was a line splitting its face into half creating a hole where curse energy began to gather in similar fashion to what i was curently doing.

Seeing no reason to give it a chance to complete whatever it was planing to do, i fired the ball of cursed energy i my hand which turned into a beam resmbling a lazer or rather

-BOOM-

Before it could even react the lazer met with its own still forming attack causing an explosion. I hoped that everything will end there but as expected from a semi special grade it survived but not without damage. The upper part of its head was destroyed but slowly regenerating.

It began to create distance between the two of us but before it could move further i sent forth a new move of mine

Within this dark area the space was illuminated by the balls of curse energy raining on the curse while it tried its best to dodge and evade the attacks.

Injures accumulated on its body as its regeneration could only take it so far. Before you know it the thing was on the its knees completely exhausted and worn out, the fact that nothing it could do would get it out of this situation dawned on it. Descending down to it level i simply put my hand on its head and ed it. The domain it created had long been shattered during our fight allowing me to swiftly leave the basement and exiting the building
