"What is with that track suit?" Brian asked as he saw Lenin coming out of his room in a red track suit instead of his normal school uniform.
"Huh? Did you forget? I told you I won't be attending class for a while"
"Ah, yeah I forgot"
"Where is Aina? It isn't like her to be late"
Brian's eyes darkened.
"Errmm... I have been trying to put this off for some time, but I really think you guys need to talk"
Lenin flinched at that. He knew very well that his relationship with Aina had deteriorated but he was too afraid to go work it out.
"Haaah" Lenin closed his eyes and let out a deep breath. He then opened his eyes slowly. It was filled with resolution.
...
Aina was sitting infront of her mirror making some last touches to her hair. After a while she stopped and sighed.
'That brat said he is going to begin training with the other rankers huh?'
She smiled. Then the smile changed to a frown.
'Nope, nope. I'm not happy for him. I am supposed to stay pissed at him until he comes and explain himself'
She thought as she slapped her cheeks.
Knock! Knock!
"Huh?" Aina turned to the door a little bit surprised. It was very rare for any of the guys to knock on her door. Because they were basically siblings, they ended up always barging into each other's room.
Considering she is a girl, she would have been furious by these acts, but since the guys hardly came to her room in the first place she decided to let it slide as a 'once in a while' occurrence.
Knock! Knock!
The knocks sounded again.
"Come in" she said after much deliberation.
The door knob twisted open as Lenin opened the door and stepped in.
Aina frowned.
"What are you doing here?"
"Well... You are a bit late, I just wanted to check up on you"
"Huh? Late?" Aina turned and looked at the clock on her wall. She flinched when she noticed the time.
'What? I was lost in thought for so long that I.... Nevermind'
Aina turned back to Lenin.
"Thanks. I'm almost done."
"That's good. Well... I'll be going"
Lenin turned around to go out.
Aina bit her lips in frustration.
As Lenin moved out Aina's voice sounded again.
"Really? Is that all you came her to say?"
Her voice quivered a bit.
Noticing this, Lenin was a little hurt.
"What do you mea-"
"Oh don't pretend. You know exactly what I'm talking about."
Lenin sighed.
"You still think I lied to you?"
"THINK? THINK? Are you telling me that all this is just in my mind?"
Lenin turned and walked towards Aina. He squated a bit so he could look straight into Aina's face.
"Look. I didn't mean to hurt you in any way. But we all have our secrets. I have never asked you about your past, so why are so angry that I didn't tell you everything about me"
Aina flinched when Lenin mentioned her past. Anger begun to well inside her.
"I see. I can't believe I trusted you so much. To think you would give me an excuse like. Using my past... Hic" Aina's voice broke as she spoke.
"Wait! That's not what I was try-"
"Out."
"But-"
"Out!"
"I'm-"
"I SAID OUT!"
Qi blasted out and pushed Lenin away a bit. Lenin blinked twice trying to register what had just happened.
"Get out"
Hearing this, Lenin quietly rised and walked out.
....
Brian who was outside had heard the exchange between Lenin and Aina. He shook his head and face palmed.
"Lenin that idiot. Could he not just have pleaded with her? And why did he mention her past!"
Brian was honestly baffled by Lenin's actions.
Lenin came out and stopped infront of Brian.
"I guess you heard all that"
"I did"
"Not going to say anything?"
"Nope" Brian said as he shook his head.
"Haaah..." Lenin sighed.
Brian walked towards Lenin and patted him on his back.
"Let's get going"
"Yeah... Sure"
...
Lenin walked into the training ground with an aloof expression. He was distracted by the events that had transpired in the morning.
"You are late" a voice said. The voice was disturbingly close.
Lenin looked around trying to find the source.
"Over here"
Lenin looked up to see the little girl with blue hair standing on his head. Surprisingly he didn't feel any weight on his head.
'This girl... Just how strong is she?'
"Sylvia get down from there!" Betty said with a slightly displeased tone.
"Sure Elder Sis" she said as she jumped off Lenin's head.
"But as she said, you are late. Join the others over there" Betty said in a reproachful tone. Her expression was stoic but her eyes were a different matter. Her eyes were filled with lust.
Lenin hurried to join the others. The training ground was especially large, with all types of training equipment.
"Is that all you've got Lisa?" The guy named Ward shouted.
Lenin turned to where the voice sounded. He looked at the scene before him. A woman with white flowing gown and black her was battling with Ward.
"Humph! Don't think I can't hurt you Ward!" She said in anger.
Her aura exploded. Kinetic energy swirled around her body as snow begun to form at her foot.
"Haaah!"
Ice formed around her and froze the whole battle arena.
"Pfft. Is this all you've got? How are you even a ranker?" Ward said with a laugh.
He raised his leg and stomped the ground.
Crack!
The ice cracked and split apart. A strong wave radiated.
Lenin looked at the battle with shock.
"Whow! Are these the people I am going to train with?"
"Yeah" Lanvris said as he walked towards Lenin.
Matyr followed behind Lanvris. She had her usual tracksuit on that showed her well proportioned assets.
"You are always late."
"Leave him alone Matyr"
"Fine. Let's just get this over with!" She said as she moved to the other side of the training ground.
