Chapter 2

Previously

There was nobody inside and Iris locked the door. She sighed in relief and leaned against the wall. Just then she heard a voice from the other side of the door. 'Who's there?' It sounded like her best friend. ''It's me, Christall. Open the door.'' Christall said softly. ''Is this a trap?'' she asked her best friend. ''No, I swear it's just me,'' replied Christall. Iris unlocked the lock and opened the door and Christall entered the bathroom. She closed it and locked the door. 'What's wrong?' asked Christall. 'I'm scared. Jake is after me, again. I think he wants to hurt me this time.'' Iris replied tears threatening to fall again."Shh shhh, It's okay now'' She said soothingly as Iris hugged her. ''what am i supposed to do? Move to another country??'' Asked Iris with tears in her eyes. ''No Iris....dont leave because of a boy..''

Chapter 2

After staying in the bathroom for some time, they decided to skip the rest of the day. And so they did that, they packed their stuff and went to Iris's house where she lives alone. They ate popcorn in the living room and played video games until they fell asleep in front of the tv. When Iris woke up her alarm was blaring, she looked at the time, it was 7 AM, the time to wake up. So she got up and freshened herself up and left the room to go downstairs. After eating breakfast and cleaning the dishes. She grabbed the books she needed for the class. Then she woke up her best friend and waited for her to get ready so they could walk to school together. The second they arrived in front of their school everyone is giving Iris dirty looks. She feels uncomfortable because of them. She ran away from school into the forest before she would change into a wolf in front of them bc of all her emotions. She was running through the woods trying to calm down. As soon as she calmed down she changed back into a human. This time with a black hoodie on over a white t-shirt and brown pants. She then turned around and saw Christall walking into the forest also wearing a hoodie. She hid fast so Christall wouldn't see her. She waited till her best friend walked away before she could go home fast. When she gets home she goes straight to her room and changes back into her normal clothes and goes to bed. She tried to avoid everyone as much as possible. She hated that everyone was looking at her differently because of her ex-boyfriend. She took her laptop out of her bag and opened it. She turned it on and then went onto the goggle. She is looking for a different place to live with her best friend. She stayed the night up looking for the perfect place for them. After spending almost 6 hours online she finally found one she likes. It has plenty of room for Christall, it's only about 25 minutes away from school. It's a quaint little town with two shops, a grocery store and a library. She also liked that it was pretty far away from her parent's houses and that no one knew where she lived. It seemed like a perfect fit for a wolf like her. The price wasn't expensive and it had enough space for both of her and her best friend if they wanted to move in together. So that was settled. ''Tomorrow i will ask her if she wants to be with me and start a new life.'' She thought while smiling to herself. She finally went to sleep after 6 hours of looking. In the morning she texted her best friend to come over because she needed to tell her something important. Within about 30 minutes Christall arrived at her door. Iris greets her with a 'good morning' and a hug. Christall hugged her back before getting dragged inside the house by Iris. 'What is the fuss about?' she asked giggling a bit. 'Follow me up to my room' said Iris before going to her room. Christall followed Iris up to her room very curiously. Iris jumped on her bed and opened her laptop. Then show Christall the new house for them waiting nervously for her answer. 'Well? What do you think?' Iris asked nervously before looking at her best friend.

'I think it is perfect.'' she said happily. Iris sighed in relief before hugging her best friend again. 'Thank God!' she muttered as she hugged her tightly. Christall giggled before Iris pulled away from the embrace and held her hands. 'So, can we move in tomorrow?' she asked excitedly. 'of course we can! I will pack everything today.'' Christall said excitedly. ''Oh yes! Thank You thank you!' Iris exclaimed. They spent the rest of the day together packing everything up for a move. Giggling and having fun while doing that. For dinner, they ordered some pizza. They packed Iris in first then they went to Chrisralls house so they can pack Christall in too. The next day they woke up and got ready before calling a moving truck.

They spent a few hours setting up everything on top of the truck. The first couple of boxes went into the back of the truck and were followed shortly by the second and third boxes. They helped each other pack the last piece of furniture into the truck. Once everything was packed up they drove to the new house with the moving van behind them with all their stuff. After a 35-minute drive, they parked in front of their new house. Christall turns off the car she was driving and they both step out. There was an older man waiting for them with the papers and keys. They went up to him and paid him for the house. They signed the contract papers before getting the keys to their new house. Both girls were very excited. The second they unlocked the door they ran in and went to explore their house. They both chose their own bedrooms and their own bathrooms. They went back downstairs and began unloading the van. When they finished unloading the van they headed outside. They went to the backyard and set the things they bought in. After a couple of hours of unpacking everything. All of their stuff was inside. Except for the couch. The sofa would stay outside because it was too heavy for them. They didn't bother to move it. In the evening they stopped with everything and took a break. They ordered some fast food and some sodas. While waitin for their food they went back to the backyard and sat down on the couch. A while later the pizzas came. Iris got a beer while Chrisall ordered the same thing. They sat in silence and eat their pizza while watching tv. The tv was showing the latest episode of Friends so they turned it on. They stayed in the backyard talking a lot and laughing. By the end of the episode they both realized it was 10 in the night so they called it a night and went up to get ready for bed.
