The week went by and finally, Theseus and Sirciam returned. I watched from afar as they got in their fighting stances. Sirciam was far larger than Theseus and had way more muscles than Theseus but he still stayed calm. "Now then, so called son of the King, if you lose you'll be executed so are you prepared?" asked the guard.

"Of course" answered Theseus and so the guard blew on the horn. They both charged at each other but Theseus seemed to be losing. Suddenly he grabbed Sirciam's arm and pulled him down onto the ground. "A point to Theseus!" yelled the guard. They got back up and the second round out of three began. They charged again and yet again, Sirciam seemed to be winning. Theseus tried to use the same move but Sirciam clotheslined him. He collapsed and the second round was over. "Now then, the third and final round of this fight may, begin". They charged again but this time, they were at a stalemate. Theseus grabbed Sirciam's leg and lifted him high up to the air then slammed his head into the dirt. "The match is over and Theseus has won!" said the guard, "Now, com with me, I'll guide you to the king".

Theseus smiled then fell onto his knees. "I, won against him" he said in disbelief. We rushed over him and lifted him up. "Nice" I said looking over at Sirciam. How did he beat that monster. We took him to the castle to meet his dad, King Aegeus. The guards didn't question us this time and we finally entered. There were two stairs on my left and right. There was a long red carpet with golden rims and the doors were all made of gold. On the fifth and final floor, there was one area and across was a golden throne. On it was King Aegeus staring at Theseus with a wide grin on his face. He looked weird for a king. He had long white hair and holes in his teeth and to be honest, looked more like a homeless man. I looked back at Theseus who was also smiling and they looked slightly alike, the similarity being their slightly arched down nose. "Hello Theseus!".

He got up and limped towards him. He felt his face and looked down at his sandals. "You truly are him, you look just like me!" he said looking at his sword, "And it seems like your mother gave you my sword and sandals but it seems you're about to out grow them!".

"Yea, mom told me to try to lift the stone up and I found these under it" said Theseus. His dad grabbed his hand and pulled him down the stairs. After five minutes they came up but Theseus had a crown and was dressed in a long white robe. The king then turned to us. "Who are you guys" he asked getting tense. "Don't worry father, they're my friends" he said stopping the King. His dad sighed in relief and I said, "I'm Taragmenos, this is Han, this is Pearl and this is-" I paused. Where was Han's dog. It was with us when we entered the city. "Hey, Han where's your dog?" I asked. "Cerberus is gone" He said. Suddenly, he collapsed and began screaming. I ran over to him and called his name to no avail but when Pearl laid her hands to his head, he stopped and arose.

"What's wrong with your friend Theseus?" asked the King slightly on edge. Theseus looked equally shocked and didn't respond. "I-I have no idea but he's alright now, I guess" said Theseus coming closer. "This happened to him twice before but Pearl, how did you stop it?" I asked. Usually I only had to call him but she just touched him and he awoke. "This happened before and I managed to stop it like this for some reason" she said smiling. I was still confused but didn't question her since I had a bigger issue. I had to go find mom again but where was she. My journey with Theseus was probably about to finish so we'd part ways soon. "Theseus, could you do something for me?" asked the King.

"Ok but what is it father" answered Theseus confused at his request. It was strange, they'd just met moments back. "Could you kill the Minotaur?".

The king told us about what had been happening. Every year they had to sacrifice ten people between ages twelve to nineteen to the Minotaur which was held in a labyrinth under Crete. He wanted us to go with five other seven other young warriors to kill the Minotaur and in return, we'd get money and the protection of Athens which was the second most powerful nation after Thebes and that'd be useful since we were criminals in a lot of countries since we burnt down Ithaca's palace. The journey would begin next month and we were given a boat called the "Paradox". We were given rooms in the palace until the journey and we didn't have to waste money on food but I still performed. I planned to use the money to make a rope from the blacksmith and save the rest up for later in other adventures.

It had been a crazy year for me. I had to fight a boar, met a giant, met a God and now was friends with a Prince. I didn't remember my past but even I from then would've probably thought that this was crazy. I was however sure mother wasn't dead because she was the world's greatest magician so she wouldn't be killed by some four legged beast with no eyes and skinny legs to support it's big purple head. I still planned to get the soldiers back for trying and kidnapping me. I was a hero, destined for greatness so high the oracle couldn't predict my future and instead could only say I was destined for something. I as a child defeated the boar and would defeat the Minotaur.
