114. The Best Advice

The darkness persists. I have already gotten comfortable in the dark hole, ready to spend eternity in it. I am not sad exactly, but at the same time, I am not happy.

It is a mixed feeling, knowing that even though I will not be seeing Michael and Sammy again, Momma and Daddy are on the other side waiting for me. I have longed to see them, while I also don't want to miss Sammy and Michael.

I sneeze at some point, however, it is not just any sneeze. It is one of its kind since it reverberates through me and a bright light appears in the distance.

Next is the sound of an ambulance at a near distance. A searing pain shakes my whole body awake. I can barely blink my eyes open, no matter how hard I try.

While slipping between consciousness and darkness, I make out a small worried face peering into mine. An equally small hand wraps around mine, trying to shake me awake. After some seconds pass, someone forcefully removes it from me.
