Two hours later...
Amanda was now almost done packing and was now bidding goodbye to the hostel in charges and the staff members. She was now feeling extremely emotional as well as nervous, as a major change in her life was about to occur.
"Good bye Mrs. Fernandez. You have really helped me a lot in all these years." Amanda hugged an old lady, as she wiped away her tear. "Ever since I have entered this premises, you have always tried to make me feel at home, in spite of me being an orphan. I shall always be indebted to you."
"Oh my dear. You are the brightest and the nicest kid around. I have seen you growing up with so much strength and will power, even in this atmosphere. You deserve the best in your life and I hope you get it." The old lady hugged back Amanda, with much affection.
