CHAPTER 50 Death wish
Lorenzo's POV
Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep
Mother exhales holding onto Stefano's hand that's placed beside him on the bed watching him longingly, Holding her rosary in the other hand.
She was seated on a chair beside his bed. She must have been praying for Stefano's speedy recovery.
"I just wish that he'll open his eyes and come back to us, Lorenzo. Is that too much to ask?" Mother says tearing up.
I was about to leave the mansion when I met Mother inside Stefano's room, from the look of things she had just finished giving him a sponge bath.
She always preferred cleaning Stefano instead of his personal nurse Kate that takes care of him.
She had taken a leave to travel to Wisconsin to visit her family for over two weeks now, she'll be back soon and Mother had taken up the duty of looking after him.
It didn't matter whether Kate was there or not because Mother or Allegra was always at his bedside without fail.
