Forty-Eight

Sarah opened the door to their house with a long and drawn-out groan. When Elena said last shop, it was a wild exaggeration on her part. If she had told her the previous shop on this street corner, that would have been more accurate. Sarah decided then and there that she would never go shopping with Elena again if she could help it. Not that Sarah would outright refuse because that would be rude, but she would try to come up with an excuse to get out of it if she could.

Elena stepped through the door after Sarah and set her bags on the ground. She noticed several shopping bags were already lying on the floor, so the guards Elena asked to deliver her shopping bags earlier must have found the house just fine.
