Chapter Thirty-One

Sarah watched Peter rush towards Captain Triston in a heroic attempt to save her life.

She wanted to stop him, but Peter started to vanish as he ran across the distance towards Triston. He would reappear only long enough to take another step then disappear again.

Sarah watched in fascination as he crossed the space between him and Captain Triston in the blink of an eye. Triston unsheathed a Warhammer the size of an adult human, looking unfazed by Peter's inhuman speeds.

Peter struck Triston with his blade, but the Captain effortlessly dodged the strike by taking a step back. He followed it up with a crushing blow with his Warhammer. Sarah took a step forward, about to rush over to Peter's aid, but when she saw the unworried look on Peter's face, she stopped herself.
