Chapter Forty-Four

A boy in his early twenties stood in the center of a crowd with a big goofy grin on his face. He would answer questions thrown at him from the crowd enthusiastically and with a laugh, making the atmosphere enjoyable for the people around him.

Sarah took a liking to the guy almost the second she saw him. He had long black hair that went just past his shoulders and dark brown eyes that looked to be smiling like the rest of him. He wore a white tank top over his well-muscled torso and a pair of blue jeans that probably covered a well-muscled lower half as well, not anything like she thought he would be wearing. In her mind, before meeting the guy, she pictured a tall hero wearing a flashy hero costume and a serious complexion like the weight of the world settled on his shoulders. She much preferred the person before her than her imagination.

The two stood in front of the crowd, pushing their way to the very forefront; much to the people's dismay, they cut past.
