Chapter 20: The Wrath of Moony

**Somewhere in Nova's Atmosphere, aboard the Demonic One**

Onboard the Demonic One, the Devil's flagship, Moony was overseeing her forces. Although it seemed like an eternity, only about ten minutes had passed since Moony had ordered her demons to eliminate Angel Yan and her team as quickly as possible. Xueyi, Ato, and their squads had just gone through the wormhole.

In that brief period, Moony had commanded her lower-ranking demons to be deployed, directing the second and third-generation demons to lead these lower demons into battle against Nova's various armies. Only after all the preparations were done did she leisurely return to the command center.

Back in the command center, Moony was already thinking about the glorious future. She imagined her transformed warriors from Nova crushing Keisha and her so-called just order. With her dominion established across the known universe, every divine life form would hail her as the unparalleled queen. The thought brought a wide, unrestrained smile to her face.

"Artai, any updates? Have you located my warriors yet?" she asked, turning to the busy demon, Artai, who was deeply engrossed in decrypting Nova's encrypted data.

Startled by Moony's sudden question, Artai quickly regained his composure. "Your Majesty, it's proving tricky. While decrypting the data, I noticed something unusual. It seems those angels have encrypted it. However, even if they did, their individual computing power shouldn't be able to match the Demonic One. I suspect they have external support, causing a stalemate. We might need to allocate more computational resources to break through."

Artai's analysis was presented with a confidence born of knowing Moony's priorities well. She had always been quick to act when her interests were at stake. As expected, Moony's face darkened at his words.

"Then allocate more computational power, you idiot! Do I have to spell it out for you? We're racing against time here! If you mess this up again, I'll make sure you regret it!"

Moony's furious outburst left Artai scrambling. "Yes, Your Majesty! I'll get right on it. I don't want to be on the receiving end of your wrath!"

"Good. Increase the computational power and crack that data now! Or you'll find yourself in a very uncomfortable position!" Moony's irritation was palpable as she turned her attention to the holographic screen displaying the ongoing battle between Xueyi, Ato, and Angel Yan's team.

The battle on the screen was intense. "Damn, these little witches, even with Keisha's knowledge vault supporting them, are giving Xueyi a hard time despite her upgraded third-generation divine body. If only I had more time to perfect our demonic genes, they wouldn't stand a chance!"

Moony watched with a mix of frustration and grudging admiration as Xueyi struggled against Angel Yan. Suddenly, the battle shifted. Xueyi was hit by a lightning strike from Angel Yan, while Ato was kicked towards her by Angel Leng. The two angels soared into the air, preparing to unleash the Heaven's Blade Judgment.

"Oh no, Heaven's Blade Judgment! Xueyi can't withstand that... Wait, there's interference. My warriors must be disrupting them. They won't be able to unleash its full power. Phew, that was close!" Moony sighed in relief as her prediction came true. The interference prevented Angel Yan and Angel Leng from executing the Heaven's Blade Judgment with full force, sparing Xueyi and Ato from severe damage.

Once the dust settled, Xueyi emerged relatively unscathed. Moony couldn't help but feel relieved. "Good thing I upgraded Xueyi to a third-generation divine body. If she were still in her old form, this would have been disastrous..."

Just as she was feeling relieved, Xueyi's voice came through the comms. "Your Majesty, could you stop spectating? We could use some help here. Ato, Big Black, and I can't handle them all on our own!"

Moony's expression darkened at Xueyi's slightly reproachful tone. "Watch your mouth. I'm your queen, and I'm gathering intelligence, not just watching!"

"Sure, Your Majesty. But isn't it about time you joined the fray?"

"Of course! Do you think I'm just standing around for fun? Hold tight, I'm on my way!" Moony responded with a mix of irritation and determination.

As she ended the communication, Xueyi smirked. "This is about to get interesting. Ato, Big Black, let's give them hell!"

With that, Xueyi's aura changed, her dark energy surging to a new level. This new wave of dark energy was far more formidable than before. Angel Yan and her team, who had been detecting her dark energy at third-generation levels, were now facing her true power.

Feeling the surge, Ato and the others were reinvigorated. With a single look exchanged, they launched their attack in unison.

Despite the setback, Angel Yan and Angel Leng used their speed to dodge and occasionally counterattack. However, during a critical moment, as Angel Yan blocked a massive ice spike from Xueyi and prepared to retaliate, Xueyi hit her with a data shock, causing her to momentarily lose focus and experience engine tremors.

In her daze, she heard the alert from her gene engine. "Warning: Micro-wormhole detected."

Turning instinctively towards the source of the micro-wormhole, she saw a giant claw reaching out for her.
