Chapter 1: Welcome to Hell, Patrick Kelly

"Should've seen this coming." Katara muttered as she stood in front of a tall dark murky skyscraper. With a heavy sigh, she walked up to the doorman, a white, grey and red striped tall skinny imp dressed in black tuxedo and tight black jeans,

"Oh, miss Katara." He said softly with a gentle chuckle, "What brings you here? Coming for an interview?" he asked her with sly grin, making the young heiress roll her bright eyes.

"Yes, Maurice. Dad sends me." She replied in flat tone. The impish doorman stepped aside, opening the tinted grey glass doors,

"Come in then." He chuckled, causing her to groan in annoyance.

"Thanks." She grunted stepping into dark hallway. Maurice waited for her to walk father in before closing the door once again.

The hell princess slowly walked forward, her eyes glowing with bright yellowish color as they quickly adjusted to the dark surrounding her. Her feet softly tapped against the carpeted floor, her tail swinging gently as she curiously looked around.

"May I help you, ma'am?" a gentle deep voice startled Katara, with a gasp she turned around. To her right stood a hellhound, he was tall and very muscular, with his amber and red colored eyes glowing softly. He was leaning against a nearby door, studying the newcomer from afar, his fluffy tail was laying on his feet.

"Yeah." Katara said reluctantly, slowly recovering from the shock, "I'm looking for Nether News." The hellhound gave out a grunt of acknowledgement,

"Top floor, I'd taken the elevator if I were you." He pointed to a metal beside him, "Be careful, they tend to get…a little wild to say the least." He warned her before she hopped into the metal box. She gave him a heavy sigh,

"I've heard." She told him, closing the lift door. She leaned against one side, watching the numbers go up very slowly. In boredom she started to examine her nails, they were dark grey color and started to get very long, 'I need to fil them when I get back.' She made a mental note.

As she neared the top, a soft moans entered her sensitive ears, "Da hell?" She raised her eyebrow at the sudden noise. Soon the elevator came to a halt and the doors opened with a squeak.

A loud yelling came from the hall as the hell heiress stepped off the metal box, suddenly a completely naked incubus sped past her, slamming into far wall of the elevator with a loud 'Thud' before falling down face-first onto the elevator's floor before the door closed. Leaving Katara gawking in sheer confusion.

Still with shocked face, she padded forward, feeling strange feeling falling onto her. Her eyes moved around wearily, noticing the lust symbols carved into the velvet wallpaper, the lights flickered above her, making her look up.

"Where did he go?" A soft yet bit whiny female voice made her stop dead in her tracks,

"I told you to not unlock the handcuffs!" another female voice joined in sternly, "I knew he'd take off the first chance he gets." The voice huffed in angry disappointment. Soon two pair of footsteps echoed down the hallway, coming closer to still confused Katara, soon two rabbit silhouettes were casted onto wall nearby.

"Oh look, Omi! A new company!" a soft playful giggle made Katara shiver,

"Let's see if they're better than the last one." two pairs of glowing eyes watched her closely, making her shiver a little.

"What?! No! I'm here for an interview!" Katara blurted out as fear overtook her. Putting up her hands defensively, her tail twitching slightly.

"Oh, that explains it then." The softer voice said, with purple and teal eyes blinking.

"I thought you were too soft for our games anyways." A grumpier sounding voice added, followed by an amber eyes rolling. As the two females came closer Katara took a closer look at them, she blushed heavily when she noticed they were only in a very thin, seductive underwear, quickly turning her head away.

"Oh sorry." The purple eyed one apologized scratching her neck, "We didn't expect you to come so soon." She giggled a bit, blushing slightly,

"What's wrong, Youngone? Like what you see?" The amber eyed one chuckled, leaning against a wall in seductive manner, tracing her hands along her body, making the other female giggle,

"Neco, stop!" She told her giggling softly. Katara looked from one to the other, noting how attractive they looked, both were rather skinny, with nicely trimmed hair, one with little pixie, the other had shoulder-length cut. Their skin was covered with soft textured fur, one had black horns, the other had lighter colored ones.

"Turned on already?" A chuckle and a series of giggles brought her back to reality,

"What?! No!" Katara said in defensive manner, making the amber eyed one chuckled,

"Don't ruffle your tail, we're just messin' with you, kiddo." She told her with a wave of her hand, "I'm Necroma and that is Omicra." She finally introduced them,

"I'm Katara." The hell princess introduced herself in reply making Omicra gasped,

"Satine's daughter?!" she asked in disbelieving surprise, Katara nodded.

"Nice to meet you then princess, give us five minutes and we can start the airing then." Necroma told her, dragging Omicra back into what Katara assumed was their bedroom or closet.

Few minutes after, the two, now fully clothed in yet still revealing shorts and tight tank tops, led Katara to their work room, a small room with two red sofas with dark desk in between them which had microphones on its surface.

"Make yourself comfortable, it might take a while." Necroma informed her gesturing to the couches. Katara sat down, leaning into it, while Omicra sat down into the other one. Necroma turned on the cameras before sitting down beside Omicra.

"Good afternoon, dear denizens! Nether News are running live now! Omicra and Necroma are back with another interesting person to interview. We know you all expected Shawn with his delicious cannibalistic meals, but we couldn't get a hold on him, so here's a decoy. Straight from the palace, our very own princess Katara!" Necroma finished her lively introduction, before she and Omicra turned to the now slightly nervous looking Katara.

"So, princess, what brings you here this swell afternoon?" Necroma asked with wide playful grin.

Katara gulped nervously, squirming lightly she took deep breath, "As all of you probably know by now, there was an execution this morning." She started praying her voice wouldn't tremble, "And with great sorrow, I must say several of our fellow denizens were mercilessly slaughtered, including one of our overlords-Amos." Both of the rabbit ladies gasped in shock at the last sentence.

"How is that possible?" Omicra asked after she recovered from her astonishment,

"From the information my father gathered, the Heaven is now trying to completely wipe us out." Katara informed them in grim tone. "So, we can probably expect more frequent executions being led." She added with a deep sigh.

"Does the royal family plan on doing something?" Necroma asked leaning forward,

Katara nodded, "Yes, after the disappointing quest for answers to up above, father went to search for ways to prevent more slaughter of his men. With an ancient book from times, he was still an angel, he created a protective globe around the castle which prevents holly powers of the angels to touch it."

"And what about the rest of us?" Omicra asked with interest,

"That's why I'm here, from now on, whenever the execution starts, we urge you guys to head for the royal palace immediately, without hesitation, you'll be safe there!" Katara explained more cheerfully.

"Did you hear that fellow denizens?! We can now wait through executions safely without worrying our hiding place isn't safe enough!" Omicra proclaimed loudly before turning off the camera, ending the airing session.

Patrick Kelly sat in his bulletproof car, reading on his phone. "Where to go now, boss?" Eduardo, his tan-skin muscular driver, asked looking at him for a brief moment, before returning to pay a full attention to the road.

"We'll need to get Aura from school. She had another breakdown." The infamous mafia boss informed him, "And my dear Lizzy needs to us to take her to dentist, her molar broke." He added, scrolling through his phone.

Eduardo nodded in acknowledgement, 'This is going to be a long day.' He thought to himself trying hard not to sigh.

A young girl with bright pink hair and cat features sat on stone stairs, staring into nothingness. She perked up as she noticed a very familiar looking car driving into the adjacent parking lot. She slowly got up, took her bag and walked toward it.

"HI." She breathed out meekly, her voice strained.

"What happened this time, dear?" Patrick asked with concern,

"The usual, I got into a fight with my classmate again." She sighed in frustration recalling the memory.

"Again, Aura?" The mafia boss asked, clearly surprised.

"They were teasing me about the Situation again. They even suggested I should've just slept with Her. I…couldn't control my temper." She shamefully admitted, "The worst part? It was all said out loud during chemistry with Her right in front of me." She chuckled dryly, staring out the window.

They drove in silence for a few moments.

"Where will miss Lizzy be waiting, Boss?" Eduardo asked little roughly, glaring at the busy traffic.

"Just short from the town square." Patrick informed him politely, not paying attention to his voice. Eduardo nodded, turning his wheel a little. He started humming a soft melody, calming his nerves a little.

Suddenly a high speeding car, was heading toward them,

"What the fu-" Patrick's screaming was cut short as the car crashed into them. Sending them all forward, making them hit their head onto something. The last thing he heard was a loud yelp of pain before everything around him went dark and silent.

*************

As a smoke started coming from the two car wrecks, a woman crawled from underneath one of them, she had short red hair and, aside from wide shocked eyes and few scratches, she was completely unharmed. She slowly moved away from the accident and sat down, taking deep breaths she tried to steady her breathing.

Instead of going to the accident and look for survivors, she relaxed with closed eyes, a soft chuckle escaping her lips.

************

The next thing Patrick saw was a gray clouds of nothingness surrounding him, "You're awake! Great!" A cheery male voice made him stand up. Turning around he saw a strange looking lamb with golden halo brightly, he had chestnut hair and crystal blue eyes. The was a pair of soft fluffy wings flapping around him.

"Who are you?" Patrick asked mildly confused, his eyes jumping from the lamb to the dull landscape, "Where are we?" he started looking around, searching for…anything that would stand out in the horizon.

"Right now, we're in purgatory." That made Patrick let out a little gasp at that statement. "I'm Apollo." The lamb continued, introducing himself, Patrick gave a subconscious nod, paying little attention.

"Why are we in purgatory?" The former mafia boss asked,

"Because my employees are now deciding your fate." Apollo explain with a casual shrug, "Since you weren't all good nor all bad, we couldn't sent you to Heaven or Hell right away." Patrick gave him another weak nod.

"How long will it take?" Apollo shrugged at the question, unsure of the answer,

"I'm not sure, but it shouldn't be long now, you were out cold for more time than expected." The angelic lamb tried to reassure him.

Not knowing what to do, Patrick flopped down, staring at his hands. He sat in complete silence, Apollo sitting close by, playing with his hands nervously.

Suddenly there was a 'ping' sound coming from Apollo, the little angel pulled something what looked like a very advanced pager from his robe. "Looks like they're done." He informed Patrick.

"Just tell me already, man. I was here long enough." He grumbled in response, looking at the lamb with blank face.

Apollo turned on his pager, his face became crestfallen, "It seems you have a very colorful criminal history." He noted, his eyes not once leaving the pager. "And you're high ranking in the human underworld certainly didn't do very good. And the supposed marriage fraud-" "That was to protect my wife from people who wanted to kill me!" Patrick argued in cross voice.

"Whatever." Apollo muttered, waving a dismissive hand-gesture at him, making Patrick frown, "but," the lamb held up one finger, "You can still go to Heaven. If you make sure the people you've wronged in the past forgive you." Patrick snorted at that.

"'scuse me, but I haven't wrong anyone innocent, most certainly not people who didn't deserve it." He defended himself, before putting two and two together, "Oh, you mean those assholes."

"Such a foul word." Apollo frowned at him in disappointment, making Patrick roll his eyes.

"Listen, man."

"Apollo." The angel reminded him, getting slightly impatient,

"Whatever. I haven't wronged anyone who didn't deserve it; therefore, I don't need a forgiveness from them because they get what they deserve." He explained to the angel, folding his arms over his chest. Apollo exhaled sighing heavily, "They fucking trying to kill me!" Patrick screeched at him getting irritated.

"Forgive and forget, never heard of those?" Apollo asked with raised eyebrows. Patrick snarled at him in response.

"Looks like Heaven isn't the right place for you." The angel said flatly with a shake of his head. Without looking at Patrick he pointed to his right, "Go, Gates to Hell are waiting for you." With that have left the mafia boss alone, vanishing into thin air.

Padding through the grey wasteland Patrick looked around, 'One would expect Purgatory to look more, lively.' He noted, feeling a shiver going down his spine. Soon enough a sulfuric smell entered his nostrils. And a faint red glow in the corner of his eye caught his attention.

After a short moment, the mafia boss stopped in his tracks in front of a carmine gate with red smoke coming from space right behind it. Taking deep breath, Patrick reluctantly walked through the gates, leaving the gray wastelands of purgatory behind.

Suddenly he felt a light tingling all over his body as the steady cloud floor faded from underneath him, leaving the former king of underworld plumet down.

************

"Fuck." Patrick cursed as his body hit the ground. With a few cracks of his bones, the dead criminal slowly stood up. Rubbing his head, he hazily looked around, "This is hella different scenery." He noted in amusement, looking at the reddish sky with brightening white sun and the blackened silhouettes of buildings ahead of him.

Looking around in curiosity he padded downwards toward the metropolis plastered ahead. Patrick's amazement only grew after he entered the city, he looked around, eyes gleaming with interest, brightening ever so slightly as he saw various of the still surviving denizens, who watched him warily.

"He reeks of human world." A blue horned demon with skull tattoo muttered, glaring at him.

"Oh, another newbie, great." A succubus woman with bat wings grumbled sarcastically.

"Hey! Whatcha doing tonight, cutie?" A silver feathered demon with cat eyes asked him in seductive voice, making him shudder a bit.

"Handsome lizard." A bright red fox demon purred lustfully. Patrick looked at her in confusion, making her giggle while walking away, giving a small wave.

'Lizard?' he thought examining himself and for the first time noticing his new body. instead of his usual peach skin, there were slick green scale followed by sturdy tail, his fingers became bigger, with sharp small talons growing from them instead of nails. "Interesting." He noted studying himself.

"Pack it up, fuck-boy!" A harsh voice brought Patrick's attention to one side alleyway which he walked by. Following the screams and harsh words, he soon spotted two big demons holding a smaller, violet eyed one who was senselessly struggling in their tight grip.

"Let me go!" The violet eyed creature yelled in soft young-sounding male voice, the bigger demons grinned chuckling darkly. Patrick stepped a bit closer, observing the scene from safe distance.

"We will, after a special surprise." One of them hissed causing the other to laugh darkly,

"Yeah, something very special." He snickered.

"Let him go, guys!" Patrick called loudly stepping outside of the shadow. The big muscular demons looked at each other, surprised by the sudden newcomer. Suddenly there was a gust of wind, sending Patrick's scent into their nostrils,

"Oh, lookie here. A fresh-meat!" The demon closer to Patrick grinned widely, turning to face him fully, letting go of the young violet eyed demon, causing his companion to do the same,

"Dude! You're screwed!" The demon squealed before sprinting away to find a cover.

Patrick remained unfazed by the duo. His expression remained neutral even as the two stopped inches away from his, breathing on his face and neck heavily. "Fresh-meat's bold, huh?" one of them chuckled dryly, "Let's see how long it'll last him."

Without warning he flung his punch right at him, but years of spending several evenings per week in bar, prepared Patrick for this. Quickly he grabbed the muscular hand, stopping it before flinging back his own fist, hitting the caught off guard demon straight into the face.

The astonished hell-creature looked at his companion, "Da fuck?! Since when are newcomers so strong and agile?!" He looked in panic at Patrick who was still gripping his arm tightly with a smug smirk on his face.

The helpless hell-creature started wriggling with his arms, flailing it aimlessly to get it out of the iron grip the former mafia boss was holding him in. "Bitch, let go!" He grunted angrily. Suddenly, Patrick released the grip, causing the oblivious demon to fell backwards.

"Next time pick someone your heigh, gentlemen." He warned them politely, turning on his heels, he walked away back through the alleyway leaving the duo behind in utter confusion.

Unaware to all of them was a pair of yellow eyes who watched them from above.

**************

Patrick hummed happily to himself, satisfied with his actions back in the alley. His tail swinged happily causing weird sensation in his body as he wasn't used to having the tail yet.

"That was amazing!" The sudden loud voice made him almost jumped out of his skin, turning to one side, he saw Katara standing there grinning widely, "Don't do that, please!" He gasped loudly, clutching his chest,

"I'm sorry sir!" She apologized quickly, "I just wanted to compliment your skills." She admitted sheepishly, rubbing her neck.

"Why's that? I did what anyone would do in that situation." Patrick nonchalantly shrugged, unsure what the girl was praising him for.

Katara shook her head slightly, "That's not true, sir. Anyone else would've run the moment Sett and B got two steps closer, no one would let them get so close to them, let alone be unflinched by them." She explained animatedly. Patrick tilted his head a bit.

"Alright…" he said still unsure. He noticed they walked under a majestic-looking dark palace,

"What is it?" he asked, pointing at the building, his voice spiked up with interest.

"That's my dad's palace, and my house." Katara said in plain voice, following his gaze. Making him look at her in surprise,

"You're the princess of hell?" he breathed out in amazement, Katara rolled her eyes playfully,

"Nah I'm the future queen, I just haven't killed my mother yet." She said causing him to chuckle, before sighing sadly, "What's wrong?"

"You just remind me of my daughter, that's all." He let out another heavy sigh, looking at his feet.

"It's gonna be alright." Katara said trying to cheer him up, "You'll be able to see her again." She added making Patrick to look at her with horrified expression,

"Don't say that! She's too nice, she doesn't belong here!" He told her, more crossly and coldhearted than intended. Katara seemed unbothered by that statement,

"Ya think that too, huh? Figures." She said looking up at her palace again.

"I'm sorry." Patrick said softly, "I didn't mean to sound so harsh." He added sighing weakly, "I just miss my family." He told her looking up at the darkening sky. His eyes glistening with sadness.

"Don't be sad. Be happy! They're still alive, aren't they? That means they have a lot of happy days ahead." Katara stated looking at him with weak, unsure smile, "Right?" she added lightly, her eyes darkening with unsureness. Being born in hell, she never had to face with things like funerals or dead relatives, or grieving. That was until the Executions started.

"I guess you're right." Patrick agreed, still looking up, making Katara sigh in relief. Looking at him with a weak smile.

"It's getting dark." Katara noted, "Wanna sleep at my place?" she asked catching him off-guard,

"I'm sorry, but I'm married." He informed, his hands in front of him in defense manor, her making the hell-heiress roll her eyes with a snort,

"I didn't mean it like that! But fine, there's a hotel nearby if you prefer that." She told him with bemused expression, "Idiot." She muttered to herself.

"I'm just clarifying things." Patrick defended himself, "I don't need another woman drooling over me, let alone a minor." He added making Katara's eyes go wide.

"Beg you pardon? Do I look like a teen slut?!" She asked him hissing a bit. He remained unfazed,

"Compared to what I've seen in the living world, yes." He replied with a shrug, making her glare at him with light growl.

"How dare you compare me to that living scum above!" She looked at him sharply, his expression remained neutral, only swishing his tail slightly.

"Huh?" She hummed sharply; her eyes narrowed a bit.

"I'm sorry I misjudged your attempts, but I didn't have a choice given your behavior-" "You mean you think I'm only nice to you because I want to sleep with you?!" She raised her voice in anger, making him back away a bit.

"That's not what I meant!" he argued, his neutral tone shifting to angry one.

****************

Two women, one younger, one older, looking like mother and daughter, sat in hospital, in front of an emergency room, both had somber, hollow faces, staring blankly ahead. There were two men accompanying them, sitting on each side of them respectively. One was playing with his fingers, while the other read in magazine to pass the time.

"Will dad be, okay?" The younger woman asked looking at her mother. The older one sighed,

"I don't know, sweetheart." She told her honestly, looking at her hands, her gaze flicking to the door in front of her from time to time.

"Of course, he'll be alright, miss Lizi." One of the man spoke, "Boss has a tough root. He's a hard one to put down." He finished with a weak chuckle. The other man silently nodded in agreement.

"I hope you're right, Pedro." The older woman sighed sadly, while the younger one, Lizzy, stared at the door.

"Aren't I always?" He asked with a sly grin, but she didn't pay him any attention, his question falling to deaf ears.

Suddenly a clicking of heels on the floor came from farther in the hall, coming closer to them. Looking up, they all saw a young woman with short red hair and light brown eyes which held a troubled expression. Lizzy looked up, her worried face quickly turning into stone hard glare, "What do you want here?" she hissed, barring her tightly gritted teeth.

Before the woman could say anything the door finally opened and an older doctor exited, his eyes bared a deep sorrow. With a heavy sigh he looked down at the group. "How's it looking, doc?" Lizzy's mother asked with tone thickened with hope, the doctor looked at her,

"I'm sorry, dear Lilith, he couldn't make it." At this sentence, Lilith placed her face into her hands and started sobbing harshly, Lizzy looked at the newcomer,

"This is your fault!" She roared throwing herself onto the redheaded woman, however before she could touch her, Pedro and his companion grabbed her, holding her firm,

"I'm gonna kill you, bitch! I'm gonna skin you alive!" She snarled, flailing her arms around jerkily, the woman stepped few inches back, trying to get out of her range. "Let me go, idiots!" Lizzy yelled at the men who were holding her.

"Calm down please, miss." Pedro told her politely, causing Lizzy's glare to land onto him instead,

"That bitch killed my father, don't you get it!" Screeching she pointed her sharp finger at the other woman, slowly stopping to thrash around.

"Lizzy, how can you say such a vile thing?" Her mother asked between sobs, Lizzy looked at her, the fire in her eyes slowly dying out.

"I saw it, mom! She crashed her car into his then crawled away without care!" She growled coldly, making Lilith look at the woman in question,

"Is it true, miss?" she asked, her polite voice somewhat colder than before. But the woman didn't answer, only looked down at her feet, looking a bit ashamed, making Lizzy snarl at her threateningly. Lilith's eyes widened as a gasp escaped her lips.

"Low blow, jerk." Pedro stated eying the redhead sharply, making her to yelp softly.

"I apologize for your lost, but I couldn't otherwise. That pink haired freak was getting onto my last nerves!" The redhead explained, backing further away from the now seemingly angered group. "It was the only chance how to get rid of her!"

"You what?!" this time Lilith growled darkly, flames blazing in her pretty blue eyes, making everyone move away from her slightly.

"Please everyone, calm down!" The doctor pleaded watching the scene helplessly. Every person turned at him, their expression varying wildly.

"Alonzo, Pedro please escort this woman, out. I want to discuss something with the doctor alone." She informed her bodyguards as politely as she could, given the situation, "Lizzy, go with them, please." She added seeing her daughter reluctantly staying frozen on one spot.

Before the young girl could react, the redhead, held on by both muscular bodyguards, grabbed a gun from one of them, successfully firing a bullet right into the girl's heart.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, woman!" Pedro raged as his coworker, Alonzo, ran to Lizzy, who laid on the ground, coughing up blood. Lilith stood still, frozen in complete shock, only tears streamed down her beautiful face.

Not wasting any time, the doctor kneeled down, rushing Pedro to help him carry the injured teen into the room. As the door closed completely behind them, Lilith broke down, before being overtaken by her feral rage, glaring daggers at the redheaded woman,

"You monster!" She snarled throwing herself at her. The redhead tried to dodge, but was firmly glued to the spot thanks to Pedro's powerful grip. As Lilith collided with her, Pedro released his grip. Soon a brutal catfight broke out.

Pedro watched from few inches afar as his employer's wife was beating the hell out of the other woman. Their fight was cut short thou, when a gunshot was heard a second time and Lilith, much to Pedro's dismay, fell down, unmoving.

"Doc! Alonzo! We got a problem here!" He cried, trying very hard not to choke on his sobs. He ran to the door, leaving the redhead unattended, not wasting any time, the woman got up, quickly fleeing the scene immediately.

"What's the noise, we're trying to save a life here, have some respect!" Alonzo grumbled, opening the door slightly ajar to look at his coworker and friend. Not being able to form a single word, Pedro pointed behind him to the floor.

Alonzo's eyes widened as his gaze followed the finger. "Oh shit!"

***********************

"Katara!" Satine's deep voice called from the palace's balcony, "Dinnertime- oh you got new friend I see." Before Patrick could blink, a short heigh figure jumped from the balcony, coming to them.

"That's my dad." Katara informed him noticing his confused expression,

"So, you're Satan, eh, the lord of hell? You're much shorter than I imagined" He asked as the little creature stopped beside them, yellow eyes narrowed at the question,

"Satine." He pronounced bitterly, ignoring the second half of the statement,

"Beg you pardon?" Patrick eyed the creature,

"The name's Satine, not Satan. I'm called Satan because the heavenly lambfuckers wanted my name to sound more frightening!" The hell-lord spat out the last bit in anger, looking Patrick up and down, "And you are?" he asked, calming down a bit.

"Patrick Kelly."

"He's new arrival, dad." Katara noted. Satine nodded in acknowledgement,

"Good, at least one we move up by one more soul." He muttered fiercely glaring at the sky. Patrick looked at Katara for explanation,

"Heavenly Executions, you'll get it soon enough, don't worry." She told him softly. The former mafia boss gave a weak nod.

"Since you're the only new arrival this time. Why don't you stay for dinner tonight? Most of the denizens haven't seen a fresh meat in eons and I'm not entirely sure you'd survive the night unharmed." Satine gave them a weak chuckle. Patrick shrugged,

"Sure, I don't see why not." He replied, ignoring Katara's agitated expression. He followed the hell lord up to his palace, the princess of hell bringing up the rear, muttering to herself all the way up to the main door.

"Look at it, the sky seems brighter than usual." Satine stated causing the other two to look up as well,

"What does it mean, dad?" Katara asked, eyeing the light glow wearily. Satine glanced at her warmly,

"I'm not sure sweetheart, but it probably isn't something to worry about." He told her in soothing tone, begore beckoning them both inside, closing the big dark door after a quick last glance at the purple clouded sky.

Unbeknownst to them up in in the purgatory two new arrivals were being judged.
