Chapter 10

When she reached the office , Mariam felt so relieved that for the first time in history , she's the first person to arrive .

She quickly ended inside and sat down on her office chair . Soon after , some people start to come in with surprising look on their faces . Ahmad is among them .

"Good morning sir .. You're late " Mariam said as soon as she saw the face that was bleeding this morning, she herself didn't know where she got the courage to say that to him .

Ahmad just glared at her for some seconds and passed towards the elevator.

Mariam smiled because of the relief she's feeling right now , relieved of the fact that she has finally revenged .

Mariam was going through some files when she saw Hanan coming towards her with some files on her small hand. Hanan dropped the files on Mariam's desk before saying "what's going on ? "

Mariam got confused because of the question Hanan is asking her so she simply asked "what ? "

   Hanan lightly hit Mariam's shoulder and said

"C'mon ! There's no need to be shy ! "

Mariam asked the same question again with a very confused expression on her face .

       "...Between you and air " Hanan continued.  Mariam's eye queen as she come to realize what Hanan meant .

      "No...nothing o ! Ah! " Mariam said

   "I saw you two ....talking .....and I saw the eye contact this morning " Hanan said while releasing a very childish giggle .

     Mariam sighed worriedly and said "Hanan .... please , you know that he has a fiancé and there's nothing going on between us ....god ! How can you even join me with that trash ! "

   Mariam was busy speaking that she didn't realize that Ahmad is standing just a few meters away . She suddenly stopped talking when she saw him and held a normal facial expression.

Ahmad walked back to his office and acted as if he heard nothing .

Hanan still stood at Mariam's place .

After hours of work Mariam carried her bag ready to leave .She entered a taxi as usual and left .

As she reaches her room , she repeated her yesterday's action by jumping on the bouncy soft bed and slept off.
