chapter 19:the attack

luke looked at Alex with a shocked expression he wanted to ask more but he realised that this was not the best time, the group ran to the destruction they stopped near a destroyed building Aaliyah and Leo looked up then added"we found him" Aaliyah said, Alex and luke looked up to see a brown haired woman with a beautiful pair of blue eyes she jumped down from the top of the fallen building it wasn't a far jump though "good follow me" she said 'Marcela?' Alex thought it was the name of the woman that was at the front desk at his new apartment

"you guys go i'll go find audrey" luke said alex was about to say something but Leo stopped him "its best that he doesn't get caught up in this" Leo said he ran his fingers through his blonde hair filled with some black "lets go get this bastard" Leo said his voice was tinged with confidence 'he is right i should not involve him in this it might turn out like the..' alex's thoughts were avoid it was like his thoughts had disappeared 'oh right she sealed away some of my memories of that time' alex thought Aaliyah dashed after leo Marcela stayed behind then added"its ok to give up you, are not weak for realizing one's own weakness " she smiled, Alex then followed along with the others, Alex gripped the saber, the guard was in a loop that was shaped like a wing.

The group had managed to find the core to all the chaos, it was shooting at the students "should we go in?" Leo asked, Marcela analyzed the figure she then added"attack on my command" a deep mist surrounded her a scythe appeared in her hand it was a white color with a batch of mysterious patterns, it wasn't similar to Leo's magnum, Marcela stood in poison, as soon as she was about to give the single a mountain of ice shards bombarded the figure it roared with a crazy sound it lifted its baynote then shoot in that moment alex was analyzing the fight between the figure and the one that mad the ice {i suggest you stay back, you are a weakness to this team} Aries said alex then whispered to himself "you really don't have any faith in me" Alex sighed, aries added{this figure is far stronger than the clowns you faced, you and Leo barely survived them how do you think your gonna survive this?} aries asked, Alex thought for a few seconds then added" with this leather glove of course" Alex whispered to himself.

Marcela launched into battle she used her mist to cover Leo Aaliyah and Alex the bombardment of ice didn't stop, Alex took out his saber then launched at the figure he launched a flurry of thrusts against the figure but it dodged all of it knowing that the figure will counter attack Alex jumped back a few meters Leo shot five builts from his magnum it was a direct shot.

Marcela followed along with a flurry of clean slashes to the neck and spine Aaliyah clapped her hands together then touched the ground it erupted with a flurry of crystal like spikes that came from the earth. the figure batted it away with a single swing of its left arm "we need to finish it now!" a voice yelled out alex coated his saber in the flame of the glove he held the saber in his right arm he assumed a hauntingly low, left shoulder stance, almost merging with the ground beneath him.

he placed half of his strength into his calves to launch himself, in a blink of an eye he was gone all that was left were a trail of fire, the figure was then filled with a flurry of burn marks across its body the flame managed to melt some of the ice, the person that was launching the ice turned out to be a black haired girl with glowing blue eyes with cherry red lips she was wearing the standard uniform her skin was bronze white skin color.

alex finished the attack with one final slash to its throat

Clang!

the sword did not connect to its throat instead it caught it in its hand then it spoke, its voice dripping with ominous resonance " Fear the Unknown" the figure slashed down with the tip of its baynote half of Alex's left bicep muscle was gone in that instant Marcela rushed to help but the figure got in her way Leo shot at ti but it did not damage Alex was in shock of what just happened his ear were ringing and all that filled his heart was FEAR he wanted to get himself out of there this caused a memory to spring up on him, He and Leo walking in a foggy town filled of clown them trying to escape they managed to escape one of them but the two are then captured Leo stomach is ripped open while he is still alive"Arghhhhhhh Hahhah" he scream blood spread all over some of it got caught on one of the clowns the light in Leos eyes slowly lifted before Alex knew it his left bicep was then slashed half of the muscle was gone "Arghhhhhhh" Alex scream was stopped once the clowns slashed at his head ending his pain the memory faded to black, he looked at Marcela leo Aaliyah and the unknown girl fighting off the figure Alex stood there in disbelief.

before he knew it Aaliyah had come to help stop the bleeding but the figure launched at her with a strong left hook Alex saw the attack his body reacted by itself alex had blocked half of the attack Aaliyah was pushed back a few meters, alex's glove was set a blaze Aaliyah manged to get up she was bloody but she didn't seem to mind she rushed forward she created a large warhammer then slammed it at the figure the hammer broke Aaliyah used the debris from the broken hammer to create a sphere she backed off then headed in Alex's direction she kneeled down then took out a piece of candy to give to him Alex ate it the candy helped to stop the bleeding but the wound was still there.

"...Thanks" Alex gripped his saber then he enveloped the saber in flames once more the added "lets call this enemy fear for now " when he was about to rush the sphere broke into even smaller pieces Alex felt the fear behind him he tried to get back a few meters but it swatted at his left it was too fast Alex could not dodge it he crashed into a building students were hiding in there alex's head was very bloodied it looked like he could die at any moment but with the help of the candy these attacks will not kill him for a certain period of time.

Buzzz!

the air was filled with a buzzing sound the ground beneath fear crumbled as Aaliyah used all of her strength to kick it with her right foot it dodged it but a chin was then connected to its neck it was then pulled back by a strong force "your dead" a voice said it was of luke's he was surrounded by a blue aura he rushed at fear it didn't seem to even be bothered by the appearance of luke all it did was give a creepy smile "all shall bow" fear said , luke looked at it in confusion then in that second he was sent flying with a broken arm he crashed into a building that was close to alex.

by this time an fifty minutes had already passed Marcela used her mist to protect the rest that weren't down her scythe started to glow a faint blue it transformed into a blue scythe it had a pair of wings on its back she lowered he body to the ground the earth beneath her was gone in a second fear seemed to have been shocked by this fear took out its baynote again this time it was coated in a thick layer of blood the very ground that fear was standing on was now gone Marcela and fear were in a ferscie clash they were so fast that Aaliyah could not see she looked to the ice girl then added"you are isabella right of the Knight family?" Aaliyah asked the girl was about to open her mouth when she heard a crash the ground was destroyed she looked over to see what happened Marcela scythe was back to normal she was covered in cuts her right leg was connected to one vein she looked to be passed out alex got up blood covered his faced suddenly it started to rain,fear summoned its baynote covered in a new layer of blood this had a piece of muscle fear picked it off then ate it fear then rushed to Alex but Luke parried the attack it send him landing a few meters away from the battle

Alex stood there shocked as to how he has ended up this way fear slashed downwards the impact destroyed the ground.
