CHAPTER 9

"Hundred!"

Tate said as he completed the hundred push ups. He stood up and started running around his bed gently, because he didn't want to wake his sister up again.

After completing the 10KM drills which took quite a while given Tate was slow, he moved to the next and next until he finally completed the daily task for the day.

He was panting heavily as he stared at the system messages before him.

[Congratulations. Daily task completed.

Push up(100/100)

Sit up(100/100)

Squats(100/100)

Distance covered(10/10km)]

Tate slid the message away and another came right up.

[Host has been rewarded with five martial artist points, and can now claim the reward for today.

Complete daily task for seven conservative days to receive a random box reward.

(2/7)]

Tate noticed the numbers that were added to the system message.

The numbers meant that he had completed the system daily task for two days now, once he gets to seven days, he would be given a random box as a reward for completing the system drills for seven conservative days.

Tate wondered what the random box would contain. He would have to complete the drills for seven conservative days to find out!

'Stats.'

Tate sounded in his head and the stats appeared on the super screen.

[HOST STATS

Agility(15)

Strength(10)

Stamina (10)

Intelligence(10)

Perspective (10)]

Tate examines his stats once more. In order to unlock rapid punches, he needed to improve his agility to 40+, his strength would need to be 30+, while his stamina would also be 40+

He didn't know why his stamina gets to share the same point with his agility, he believes rapid punches would require a lot of durability from him, after all, he would be firing fast punches.

Looking at the things he needed to improve, it would take more than two weeks to accomplish the requirements.

This calculation was done according to the daily task reward. The system mentioned two ways of getting MA points. By daily task and by defeating opponents. He had no idea how the second one works, perhaps his opponent in the arena, or could fighting random people be included.

Tate had no idea of that. He would have to find out when he actually faced someone, and he wondered how many MA points the system would give him on that.

If the system could give him five points for completing minor tasks like push ups and the rest, then fighting someone should be up to twenty MA points or even thirty points. Tate believes it should be that high, defeating an opponent was an entirely different thing, a more difficult thing than his daily exercise.

'It has to be high!'

Tate sounded in his mind. He faced the super screen again.

"Give all five points to agility"

[All five points have been added to agility.

Updating Host stats.

+5 have been added to Agility.

Agility(20)]

Tate's cheeks moved seeing his agility was two times better than all his other attributes. His Agility was simply 200% now, while the rest were still in hundred percent.

He decided he would first take Agility to meet up with the requirements, before he would take the rest.

Since most of his old moves relied on his pace, agility was basically the right call for him, given it would take two weeks before he would be able to meet all the requirements, so why not focus on Agility first.

Tate slid the message away then, another one came right up, but he decided to try out his former moves to see if there was any difference.

He knew they would be a significant difference, but he wanted to try it out again at of excitement.

Step!

Step!

Step!

Blow!

Tate did his favorite move again and his movements were extremely fast! His cheeks raised to cover his eyes then. He finally decided to look at the new message on the screen.

[Initiating daily logins]

[Initiating completed. Host has been rewarded with an orenda bottle.

Item usefulness— Recover +10 when consumed]

[Item has automatically be stored inside System storage]

Tate was surprised to see an item like this existed in the system. It was definitely straight out of a video game. At least the system wasn't greedy like some game developers that would want stuff like this to be purchased.

Tate navigates to the system storage by clicking on it. He didn't see the system storage on the main interface, so the system had basically created a path to it through the message.

The current interface changed to the storage sector. He could see the orenda bottle resting on the first available empty space.

Tate counted the available empty space in the storage room. The empty space just kept going on and on until Tate stopped.

He stopped when he noticed the written note that was attached to the bottom of the storage interface.

[Unlimited Space]

This should have made Tate joyful, but for some unknown reason he was angry that the system storage was unlimited.

'At of everything, this was the only thing the system decided to bless him with!!!'

'Take back your unlimited storage and give me MA points!!!!'

Tate screamed in his mind, and surprisingly a system message appeared.
