CHAPTER 3: THE AFTERLIFE

After I woke up all I could see is a sea full of blood with stinky smell and I found myself with legs and fingers like a human. I was confused and amused , and sad I want to know where Chengchi is , I shouted her name only to get stares from other boarders in the ship of afterlife.

She noticed me and asked me whether I'm Bai Xi. I nodded my head and said after hugging her as expected my owner recognizes me. I couldn't believe that Cheng recognized me in my human form and I asked her how did she recognize me. She patted me , hugged me and said that because I like you as I like myself or even better than myself and she smelled like fresh forest giving me sense of home. As the same I felt I liked her better than I love myself, better than my life I loved her and wanted to be with her all the time. I wondered is it love between two individuals and whether we can be a couple or is the the feeling of owner and her pet .After that we tried searching for master in the ship but we couldn't find master in the ship, we trolled in spaced ship back and forth for an hour and half. We were hungry and agreed together to find something to eat. The food was different, these people in the ship served us with honey dew and petal cakes but to satiate ourselves we ate it and it was tasty in my thought . The ship was big and only carried few members.

The bloody sea, suddenly turned clear and clearer that I could see the pearl in oyster as it opened it's mouth in the depth of the sea and this sea smelled like fresh smooth air and had a smooth breeze texture to it. As we were reaching the brightest light, it was so bright but it didn't harm my eyes neither did it bring heat to the surroundings . It warm and had feeling of home.

Praises where sung by the heavenly army to the King , 'o Lord be merciful and just ,to us with your grace we will live or die and with your love we will survive'.

After reaching the other side, through brightest lit path, Chengchi and I know it's time to be separated a feeling of loneliness and separation struck us unknowingly and when ship arrived the dock.

A group soldiers from heavenly army came to take me and separated me from Chengchi and welcomed me and another group took Cheng and welcomed her and each member on the ship was welcomed in that same way as it was the way to receive princely guests to the World of Lords.

I was excited, unsure, confused but a familiarity hit me , and a rose smell water was given to each of us and a heart shaped ring was given to me by a crowd of people and they looked close to me like a family waiting for me and and as I wore the ring, my subconscious pathways opened and I remembered that, I was prince of love Xi Wubian and I was flooded with memories I remembered that I was sent to the world of Mortals to experience love in turmoil quest according to my father's commands. My parents and brother welcomed and all filled their eyes with tears of happiness. They had joy in my arrival and I was delighted to be with them. But I found myself missing something. I know I want to be in Chengchi I turned around to see her.

I remembered that Chengchi was also invited by a group of soldiers and when I saw towards the side The healing lord gave her a gold needle as she drank the rose smell water and received her , all I could see is them taking her away from me and her turning towards me as if we were seeing the last time. Our hearts were filled with void. I felt as if one of my limb was missing and it was my most essential part. My father looked at me and told me let's go home and enjoy a banquet for your return from the World of Mortals. My mother noticed that something was wrong and asked me did I face something severe in the World of Mortals and my brother was worried, so he tried to excite with his cute face and toned his voice to a girl to ask me, 'do you miss older one, you look like my uncle now, smile to become a brother '. But that couldn't make me smile but it was funny. I smirked and said let's go home with a lost tone. My parents were doubtful and worried but they didn't torture me or ask me any questions. My mother whispered to my father let's leave him alone, he's mature enough to come through his troubles and we will only aid him. My mom called my brother Liushui and insisted not to disturb me and provide me with whatever is necessary and to accompany me whenever I need.

Seeing me engulfed with sadness, my brother invited me to market before banquet. He took me to a store of jewellery, to buy hairpin for mother. On the line of hairpins, I crossed across a hairpin with a bunch of leave design . I selected it and asked the shopkeeper to give me, he told it's hundred herb hairpin made by soaking different herbs in gold and cost three spiritual coins. I saw my brother and signed him with my eyes to buy it for me and he bought it for me. We selected a rose pattern hairpin costing one spiritual coins and nine hundred ninty five gold coins for my mother.

We went home to the chamber of my mother to gift the hairpin, my mother tried to ask me the reason for my sadness but she calmed herself down; to let me ventilate myself whenever I feel like.
