Chapter Twenty-two

So its been a few months since my first day of school and it's the summer vacation now I mean except for me because I have to make up for all the school I missed thankfully Seonghwa takes me here every day I need to be here. My relationship with the guys is even stronger. Pentagon is on a tour, so I have not seen them in a while. Ateez on the other hand have been spending a long time practicing all hours of the night and I must constantly make sure they are hydrated and eating. They casually busk all the time, but they got a big performance coming up soon. They all want to be idols one day and I was trying to figure out how to make that happen so I made an email for them and have been sending videos of them practicing and performing to different companies all this time and today I got an email from KQ entertainment that said they would send a recruiter to come check them out this Saturday when they are at their performance. I have not told any of them I was doing this, they thought I was just recording so they could see themselves, but I did it for them. They are so good and right now the world doesn't see the potential I see and I just want them to get the recognition they deserve and to be honest it's the only way I can imagine would even be close to paying them back for all this time of taking care of me. I respond professionally back to the email and shut down my laptop. Its Friday and we are out of school and at the house and I told them to have a relaxed day before the performance because too much practice will make them more stressed. So, I have planned a fun night of games and what not and I even made them a healthy hearty food so they would be great for tomorrows performance. After we all ate and got ready like we were going to bed San looks at he says "I am pretty sure Hirami is Mafia" while we are all playing the mafia game "Sannie you are not going to trick me into making you believe I am or am not the mafia. Just because Yunho, and Jongho are dead does not mean it is me. Yunho's my best friend why would I kill him?" I ask sounding as convincing as I can. He seems convinced by my argument. He looks at me as does the rest of the group we continue the game until it has ended me being a successful mafia with Wooyoung since there was 9 of us we played with 2 of us being the mafia. We are all sleeping in the living room on mats in a big circle and which San looks at me "Hirami since you got healed and started coming to our practices you have been taking such good care of us. We really appreciate you, you know" I smile rolling over to look at them all. "You guys took care of me when you didn't have to and I can't ever pay you back for it so it's the least I can do besides it would be a shame for you guys to leave me all alone cause you weren't taking care of yourselves after letting me get so attached to you all. I'd voodoo your butts back from the dead to kick your butts." Which makes us all laugh. "I do not doubt that you would do that" Mingi states. I look at them all "I know you guys are nervous about the big performance you have tomorrow. But you guys really are amazing and one day someone will see it and you will have fans all over the world who will scream for you all and you will all realize how amazing you each are and how lucky anyone feels to even be in your presence. And maybe I can show you guys how much you guys mean to me. I love all of you guys. I know you are going to be amazing tomorrow okay?" I tell them. I hear some sniffling "who's crying?" I ask? A few of them speak up "come here my babies" I say sitting up and they come here its Yeosang, Hongjoong, San, and Seonghwa, "You guys are amazing now come on hug before we sleep you guys need to well rested so you can rock it!" I say as they all hug me, and I wipe their adorable faces. We all lay back down and go to sleep after a few I love you's from everyone.

The next morning, I make sure to wake up before the rest of the guys and pick up my mat and stuff and take it to my room then go make breakfast. I make sure to make something that will give them energy and strength for their big day. I want to tell them about the recruiter, but they are already so nervous I do not want to jinx it for them. When I am almost done making breakfast some of them start waking up and Jongho helps me serve it to the table like the sweetheart he is. I go and wake up the rest including an adorable Sannie. He is still with that girl he met at the restaurant and I am happy for him, I have pushed my feeling so far down I pretend they do not exist. Some of the guys know like Seonghwa, Hongjoong and Yunho they have promised not to tell but they are always so nice to me when they notice me getting sad about how cute San and his girlfriend are. She is a nice person, and we are sort of friends like I am kind to her because she is great when she is around, but we do not talk outside of San. I am not sure if she likes me to be honest. I do have a girly friend I made at school who has a massive crush on Yunho. I promised not to tell him, but he is so oblivious I am sure he will never notice. Anyway, I go to wake up San I sit next to him on the mat and I poke his cheek "Hey you, adorable sleeping bean! You have to wake upppp, you got a big day and tasty food to eat!" I say to him. He grabs me and pulls me down to lay beside him trapping me under him. "Sannieee you can't hold me hostageee" I say and poking his side which causes him to wiggle a bit so I use it to immediately start tickling him which causes him to release me in a fit of laughter. I take it as an opportunity to run and he grabs me by the waist and drags me back to tickle me back causing me to go into a fit of laughter next "SSSAANNN WE ARE GOING TO BE LATEEEE" I say in between laughter. He eventually releases me after tickling me a bit longer until he was satisfied my torment was enough. About that time a knock at the door was heard. I hurry up and get to the door not realizing I probably look a mess. Hair disheveled, clothes a bit wild looking probably showing some skin like my stomach from where my shirt rode up while San was tickling me. I saw his girlfriend "Rose, oh hey just in time for breakfast" I say smiling she looks at me a bit weird and we all go to the breakfast table and she sits beside San and I sit in between Yunho and Mingi and we all eat. Afterwards we all get ready the guys decide to basically match all wearing black pants, white shirts black shoes. Different jackets though. I wear black shorts, white shirt, and a blue jean jacket in support. I make sure I have everything with me before we leave including my camera to take video of the performance then we all pile in 2 different cars and we go.
