Chapter Thirty-Five

Time skip...

It has been a month and I finally found myself a new place. I was at school during my last period and my newfound friend which is the guy I almost ran into when I got my class schedule and stuff. His name is Mark Lee he is super tall and attractive of course and my friend. He offered to help me into my new place. Pentagon was on their global tour so I could not bug them. They often send me silly selfies to brighten my day. Mark and I have been hanging out a lot and we have a lot in common. We both love cookies and cream ice cream, we both share the same lucky number, we have the same food tastes, we both like coke, we both like Christmas. We were study buddies too. He was helping heal my loneliness since I did not have the boys all the time anymore. I have not seen them yet, but we talk a little bit on the weekends and when San decides to call me which unfortunately isn't as often as I would like but it is what it is.

After class was finally over me and Mark gathered up our things and we walked to the Ateez apartment. I already have the key to the new place; it is nice with a view of the city even has a balcony. It has two extra rooms and I am going to turn one into a craft room since I have no roommates. I got extra mats and stuff in case the boys ever come over, so they are not sleeping on the floor. I am excited to move into my new place because the old place I used to stay at with the boys even though it is home it is too big for me to be in by myself and makes me feel so alone. I opened the door to the Ateez apartment and inside I see eight smiling faces but immediately get serious once they see the boy behind me.

I smile brightly and feel tears brimming my eyes. "Why didn't you tell me!?" I say my lip quivering because I miss them so much. Mark seeing me almost cry immediately engulfs me in a hug making the others get by us and peel the boy away from me. "Who is this?" Hong Joong is the first to ask while hugging me and Hwa wipes away my tears. "You are too skinny Hirami, have you not been eating?" Hwa scolds. "This is the friend from school I told you about. His name is Mark, I told you he was nice. He is here to help me move into my new place. He also has been making sure I am not a sad potato since I no longer can always see your smiling faces." I say poking Mingi in the cheek. I push Mark ahead who quickly bows and makes his introductions to the boys who are being really weird about him. "Why are you guys here? Is everything okay?" I ask questioning them all. "We knew you were moving out today and even though you do not have much stuff we thought we would come help pack up our home too and figure out where to store it all until our stuff is figured out." Seonghwa stated. "Well I am glad to see you all. Mark you, Woo, San, and Yeosang should get along great, Hong Joong and Mingi also like to rap so maybe you guys will hit it off too." I say to him as he immediately starts talking to Mingi. Everyone else throws me in hugs and "I miss you's" and suddenly we are all chatting about everything I have missed in the few weeks I have not seen them. They ask how we met and Mark lets me tell the story I nearly ran into him when I went to get my schedule for school, and the first day of school I ran into him again making me drop all my stuff and he was nice then it turned out we had a bunch of classes together and he kept calling me "Klutz girl." Which made us instantly become friends because of him being like that, he has been great especially since he helped me not fail writing class and I help him in science class". I say the last part with a giggle.

I tell them about a spot in my new place we could place their stuff until they come back to get it. I go into my room and change and tell Mark where the bathroom is so he can change too. I change into a tank top, sweater and jeans and some sneakers. When I get out Mark is being questioned by the guys. "What are your intentions with our Rami?" I hear from various sources. "She's my first friend here...we just hit it off well. I just want to be her friend." He says almost too quietly. I come out of my spot and clear my throat to which makes them all look at me and I go and grab Mark from their questioning "Guys he isn't a threat. He is here to help like you guys." After they finally agree we start moving the stuff into a truck that I had gotten from that family friend I mentioned some time ago, I did not want to take it, but he insisted. It is coming in handy today. After we got the truck filled up the Hwa insisted on driving and Wooyoung was in the front with him. By this time, they were all becoming more friendly to Mark which is good. I climbed in back with San and Mark who decided to hang out with Mingi, the rest took a separate car after I gave them the address. I sat against the wall where we had left space for us both and San sat next to me as I laid my head on his shoulder. "Oh, how I have missed you guys!!!" I say loudly as we go down the road. "We missed you too Rami...are you dating Mark?" He asks bluntly making me laugh. "No, we are just friends", I say to him smiling. "Oh, so it's nothing like that. I think he likes you; it is understandable you are adorable and so kind regardless of the horrors that have happened to you." He says holding my hand in his like it is the first time he has seen my hand. I swear my heart is going to explode out of my chest. "I doubt that I am pretty sure he likes our friend Rose, actually if you guys ever meet her you will like her too, she is so pretty and kind too. He made friends fast, so he has a group of friends that are nice as well it is how I met Rose, and Lucas. They were all so friendly to me and accepted me in their group. Mark and I are closest Rose, and Lucas are siblings, so they are closest but together we are all a mess. Lucas and Rose were going to help but their families are out of town for the weekend and left us alone at school". I say with a pout. "I promised Mark ice cream for helping me and since you guys are here and if you are free all night then I will treat you all!" I say happily. "Well we only have till tomorrow afternoon then we have to go back but we worked so hard all week to be able to spend just these few hours with you." He says smiling at me. "Well I am glad you are all here." I say as the truck comes to a stop and San helps me up and he jumps off the side of the truck as I slide down the side of it nearly falling on my face as I do so but being caught by a worried Mark and San "I did say klutzy girl" Mark says laughing at me. "I can't help it." I say mumbling.
