Chapter Nineteen

Today was the day I get to go to the doctors. I got up took a shower and got dressed to meet everyone at the dinner table to eat. We all eat in silence I do not know why the air was so weird this morning, so I just ask "Is everything okay guys? Why is everyone being so quiet?" It was Friday so I do not know why everyone was so silent. "We are all just worried about your doctor's appointment" Yunho spoke up. "I am sure it's just a checkup and maybe one that lets me work on not being so fragile." I say laughing at the end. They force smiles "Cheer up you guys, I will text you as soon as it is over okay?" They all nod in response and seemingly go back to mostly their normal selves. After we get done eating they all get ready for school and I brush my teeth and grab my ID and a few things that I might need in a purse and go outside to wait by the car since I am the slowest one getting down the stairs. I notice that it seems to be taking a bit longer for them to get ready than usual then after about 10 minutes my phone rings and I see its San. "Hey o" I respond. He immediately goes "where are you?" he asks evidently a little worried now I feel bad. "I didn't want you guys to have to wait for me to get down the stairs, so I am down the stairs waiting outside for you all." I say looking at my feet. He sighs into the phone and "okay see you in a few" he says and hangs up. Soon I hear the shuffling of all the guys and San comes down the stairs and bops me in the head "Next time tell someone! We were worried something happened to you!" I apologize for worrying them all and we get into the car and off to school we go. We drop them off, they all say goodbyes and then Hwa and I go to my doctor's appointment.

We get there and when I get back into the room and the doctor does some examining of my wound that has healed pretty nicely since I opened it back up. After he is done examining me, he gets Seonghwa in the room and begins explaining how I am basically free. I can go back to school and I obviously should not be doing any marathons, but during P.E. I should just walk and do light stretching until my body can handle more. So, I can do stuff if I am slow and steady about it. Seonghwa thanks the doctor and we leave. On the way home Seonghwa goes "that doesn't mean you go about what you did that day with Mingi understand?" I immediately say yes. "I have to do all that schoolwork I missed before Monday. Ahh so busy." He chuckles at me and "I will help you as I am sure the others will when they get home. Also, I feel this is a cause for celebration, let us go out tonight, all of us. I'll do something with your hair and we will put some make up on and get you where you will feel like going, sound like a plan?" he asks me and I agree so we go home and once inside I take a selfie with Hwa and send it to the guys, and the caption was I have good news for you guys when you get home!! Then I decide to start working on the homework Seonghwa helping me when I get stuck. I am very grateful for him. I manage to get a good bit of it done by the time we have to go get the boys and when we get them they are in the car bugging me about the texts and Seonghwa says they can wait till we get home to tell them and by that time they are ready to bursts as am I. I am awful with surprises I wanted to tell them the moment I found out.

When we get to the house I wait for the guys to rush inside waiting for me to get up the stairs slowly and Jongho stayed behind to make sure I was going to get up the stairs okay even though I have been okay mostly. I appreciated his help though. When we got inside the guys were like TELL US PLEASEEE! It was pretty funny. I sat down on the couch and looked down at my feet "So the doctor said that I could basically be free to do most things, I obviously can't ya know run around being crazy like you guys but I can go walking and what not as long as I do not push myself too much and..." I start to cut off and the guys who are looking at me super excited "AND?" they all ask. "And I can go back to school Monday." I say smiling at them all. They all scream excited except for Wooyoung that pouts and says, "I didn't get to skip school with her." I just hug him "It's okay we can hang out after school one day deal?" and he lights up like a Christmas tree and hugs me excitedly. Hwa tells everyone we are going out to eat tonight so they all need to get ready soon and he pulls me into my room with Yeosang as well and they get to work finding me something nice to wear and Yeosang talks about braiding my hair. Seonghwa finds a cute knee length dress that falls off my shoulders and he makes me go change in the bathroom and brush my teeth and then when I come back him and Yeosang begin their magical work on me to make me "prettier than I already am" according to them both. Yeosang said a braid because I am already pretty so "the braid will just get most of my hair out of my face since I have a cute face and I should show it off" he said as he pinched my face. He even let my bangs come out the braid and left it hanging on one side like Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games. Seonghwa put simply make up on me just a little gloss and some pretty pink eyeshadow. They found some cute sandals for me since I cannot do heels just yet. When they were done, they went to get dressed and ready and told me not to come out yet till they tell me because it was a big reveal, they said which just made me giggle. It didn't take them long to get ready Eventually I hear "And now for the big reveal and our masterpiece" They open the door and Yeosang offers me his hand which I take and he shows me off to the rest of the guys. I blush because it is a bit strange to be put off like this but whatever they want. Mingi screams I am so cute! Jongho pinches my cheeks which makes Yeosang slap at his hands not to mess up Hwa's beautiful work! Yunho hugs me and San is just standing there staring at me not saying anything. I cannot tell if he likes it or not. We all get ready to leave and they all start piling into the car and San pulls me back by my arm and makes me look at him in the eyes. He looks incredible like always, he was wearing a simple black jean, black boots a white shirt and leather jacket. Like he needed any help being breath taking. He holds my face "You look very beautiful" he says almost shy. I giggle at him "thank you Sannie, I thought you didn't like it." I said looking anywhere but his eyes. "I was just shocked is all, you do look amazing now come on before they get suspicious" he says grabbing my hand and helping me into the car with the others stealing the only spot next to me.

We get to the restaurant and I imagine it is quite strange to see one girl with 8 guys, so I got a lot of weird looks, but I didn't really care because these guys were the best. While we are eating you can tell that the waitress is full on flirting with San and it makes me a little sad, I mean yea I get it he looks amazing and so hot. She is also very pretty. I eat but barely. I also do not keep up with the conversations going around me Yeosang who is sitting beside me seems to notice and squeezes my hand under the table to which I flash a reassuring smile at him. He doesn't say anything but when we go to leave the girl slips something to San and the guys laugh at him and go "oooh San got a girlfriend" I just say nothing and some of the guys notice it and ask me if I am okay to which I respond with "I am just a little tired. I spent a good bit of the day doing schoolwork and I still have a lot to do." I smile a little and we get in the car and I sit at the window seat and do not even bother to see who sits beside me. When we get home, I just go gather my stuff and get a shower. I then go into my room and cuddle my plushie that Yunho gave me and fall asleep fast after crying for a bit. I do not even understand why I am so upset.
