Prologue 2 (Part 2) Eventful Outing (2) and National Jhoklon Park And Zoo.

Kazu Nini saw him after frantically glancing around, she had thought he was there no more but she could still hear his breathing so when she could not see him, she felt inadequate. She finally sensed him after darting her head about but then, it also came with confusion because now there were at least a hundred people down here running in a thousand and one directions. It was like he had called his comrades for the purpose of distraction

*Fine*, she smiled with her frazzled hair in the wind, glee on her face and posture that seemed as if she were standing atop a calvary horse. The young Pixie switched the control of her ride from her hands which she now carried up after unfolding her fore arms, and rose it above her head which rent the glass pieces into about a hundred, then she dropped her hands down as if she were a pianist, furious in his/her passion.

80% of the running figures were snatched by their ankles, slammed on their faces before being kept hanging in the air, and followed her trail at her will, yanked by their heels as she kept her eyes on the chase. The target turned right in the park and she followed to her dismay, because something blazed past her like a shooting star and she bent down to see burnt flesh which narrowly missed her shoulder, causing her to wobble as she almost fell and nearly lost control of all the people following her by the ankle from the glass she was controlling.

"Argh!" Kazu Nini groaned and grimaced in pain but she did not have extra mental energy for nothing. Steeling her pain into resolve that she must catch this guy as she began dodging a complicated web of projectiles which filled the night sky like a luxurious celebration on the darkest of nights, she cursed that she had lost her target but kept her mind focused, further motivated by reminding herself of the instruction.

*Capture him*, her Aunty had said, *undamaged.*

She summoned a third of the people, with a flex of will from a fraction of her mind, higher and higher into the air, later allowing them to fall, while the other third she waved them randomly about her body so that apart from crashing into each other, some of their projectiles landed on the thugs themselves which resulted in shrieks and gut-wrenching cries that she ignored.

The last third, she slammed to the ground.

She had repeated this process over and over before they stopped their shooting and she let these one go while she searched for the prey she finally caught again in her vision. Now, she had formed a spherical shield about her body before creating a glass ball, inside the shield, that was about the size of her head twice and took aim at her intended target.

The man in question, turned back to see the damage he had wrought to his fellow henchmen and had horror written over his face like an intricate poem, "I did not sign up for this."

The Pixie laughed as even more distractions of the thugs' crew poured out, still trying to confuse her, but the smaller ball of glass was already spinning as it stayed rooted in the space before her and Kazu Nini was about to launch it.

*"Here Is My Gift Case!"* [1]

She punched it with all her might, and the second it left the bubble of glass which protected her, it absorbed 50% of the protective material before streaking like a ballista bolt, as loud as it was fast – FWOOOOM- and totally encased the man from head to toe as if it was ice or a suit of armor. His pose was art, with expressions vivid and his motion captured more perfect than any camera ever could. Eyes darting around as the casing of glass that stuck to the ground and did not budge, she had lay spread eagle, parallel to the ground meters below before drawing her legs together and kicking both of them out to propel herself, so fast that she was barely half a second behind his entrapment. She arrived a second later beside him and held her other good arm to receive the bag when she melted the part of his own hand that held Mako Nini's belonging.

Panting lightly from her Ko-jin expenditure, she shrunk the entire casing to his wrist and ankles, enhancing the strength of the reinforced glass manacles that left him on the floor. Kazu Nini had long noticed the cops, so immediately after she knew he was apprehended, she changed the nature of the sphere around her this time and made it reflective glass, before going to hide in a thicket of trees that neared the road by 10 meters. The pain from her arm returned back full force as if it had been waiting for her rest and she gritted her teeth in pain, withdrawn the bare scraps of Ko-jin into her Ko-ji core to hide her presence; her Ko-jin level would most likely be hidden because of her lack of cultivation progress. Holding the dolls with arm that she could, she held her breath in the hopes that she would not be found.

Most of the 1st Ground Law Enforcement team arrived in cars that had to follow the pathways of this park which was barely used anymore, dead leaves strewn about with high similarity as the accumulated garbage, while one of them was in his HoverCoop, high in the air. The man dropped to the ground, a navy blue uniform complete with a beret and a horse face with pointed teeth. His addition of sun glasses showed that he did not need sunlight for sight and it also did not hide the fact that he was searching for someone.

He almost jumped when he turned around, pointing his Projectile Gun at Mako Nini who he had not noticed that she had been there at all. The weapon that resembled the double barrel of a short gun but was as light as a Desert Eagle and had a trigger of an assault rifle was the same that had been used against Kazu Nini previously. And even as the 1st Ground Law Enforcement Agency mostly had their cars littered about the park to pick up as many incapacitated thugs that they could, some surrounded their target – Mako Nini – who simply stood there with her arms clasped around the small of her back.

"You saw what happened did you not?"

She asked in a calm voice and he pulled his eyes from the target shot before properly seeing the face, to which he frantically waved his uniformed men and women to put down their guns. "DOWN, DOWN!" He then walked over to the older Pixie, "humble apologies, I did not notice you there."

"You know that she does not need to be caught or detained, right?"

"Of course, she had been wronged then ganged up upon, it is okay. No harm would come to her."

Beside the round Pixie, a sphere opened up to reveal her niece and she caught the girl in her arms. The girl glanced at the Projectile Gun which she had seen on the ground. One of the bullets, that were usually coated with enough Ko-jin kept it in place as it rotated whenever it was fired. These things treated steel like a joke but could only crack diamond. At least, *this* version before her.

The man jumped when he saw her reveal herself, surprised that she was that adept at hiding her presence. He then recollected himself and felt ashamed when he remembered that he might not have noticed her because of her cultivation before barking orders and making activity burst forth with just his word.

"She acted in self-defense; she has no blemish to her name!" Letting his men aware of the way to treat the two Pixies who were leaving. The mother and daughter pair did not see that after they left, the man knelt down when he realized who owned the thugs that this girl had just attacked, but then again there might not be a retaliation, especially with who he thought that older lady was. Either way, he was not the cause of anything here so his hands were clean. Still, he might need to report this.

"Why not just heal it?"

Kazu Locked eyes with her, "I have my own path on cultivation, don't worry about me, I'll be fine."

"I understand – the ruthlessness to carry out your goals." her expression became grim and her countenance heavy, as a ball of glass covered them both before it flew like rocket to the skies, albeit none of them were bothered by the sudden rush to the skies as if the sphere they were in had its own center of gravity. "I'll take you to the zoo myself."

"What about the Ko-jin I used up? I will have to begin conversion again." She sulked at the thought. "Is it always like this?"

"I won't let you know about everything just yet." She wagged her eyebrows. "You are welcome to guess."

Kazu Nini would have facepalmed if she was not in so much pain and fatigue that she did not show. She felt her body parts stretching over themselves to cover holes or stretching out new skin over ruptured ones all around her upper arm but more uncomfortably she noticed the heavy silence so she grumbled out loud.

"I hate the Early stages of cultivation, I felt power but without…fuel. Like, there was the thrill, but it did not last enough for me." She heard no reply so she went on. "It was like, I could do the things I had could always do from before I began cultivation and they were also now more powerful of course, but then I needed Ko-jin to attempt to satisfy my curiosity and I do not have enough, yet."

The older Pixie saw her effort and punched her other arm, which made the girl sound like something between pain and amusement. "Allow yourself grow; you just started. Keep on cultivating." Rubbing the girls back, they passed by airplanes that were hundreds of meters away and even went over one, the younger Pixie even tilted her foot to lightly scrape it.

They soared so high, that Kazu Nini could barely make anything out of anything and they stayed that way until they began rapidly descending. The sphere of glass, carefully and timely opened up so that when their foot was on the ground it was completely gone.

Both Pixies faced open gates centering a wide span of streets on both sides of it that were lined with amber street lamps as far as the eye could see. They approached the entrance that had a steady trickle of people which fluctuated between sparse and crowded. "I present you…" Mako Nini opened her arms like she had just vertically unwrapped a gift "…the Zoo."

Behind tall metal gates that arced at the top of both its halves, were iron gates which were made of bars, allowing one to see through to the other end, and behind that were pathways that were flanked by a gutter of at least 3 feet, then a canal of at least 3 feet too, arranged wherever there was a walking road. The habitats where animals were kept, at least they called them that here, were splayed across the map that was atop a sign post. The pair of Pixies roamed their gazes over before Kazu Nini pointed at a section.

On the visitor's map, they saw three divisions; Unawakened, Class 1st and Class 2nd.

"What is the difference?"

"You art students could at least learn the basics of Epic Beasts."

Kazu Nini pouted. "Do not jest the pure heart of an artist!"

"Bah! Pure, since when?"

Kazu Nini stammered at Mako Nini's reaction and she laughed. "Okay, I do not mind giving you a tour on Epic Beasts." She looked at the map and pointed, under the street lamp and the eyes of the passing patrol officer for here, a cyclops with a hat that made its head look awkward. "We will start here."
