Prologue 10 (Part 1) Kazu Nini Vs The Sprite Twins (2).

Kazu Nini's eyes flashed right before she closed them and the mud minions started mimicking real life movements; the bird climbed to the bears back and the mammal turned to regard him. The young Pixie closed her eyes as if she were sleeping and Kivon waited until he could no more, his hand suddenly flickering.

BONG!

The first shock wave arose from the movement he had just made, the second from a hand growing larger as it moved which seemed to teleport before the Bear and the third from when the mud mammal slapped the hand as if it was a fly. It roared as the Hawk took to the skies, gracefully evading lunges, spirals, twirls, grabs and reaches made with Kivons' other outstretched Ko-jin arm that did not seem to have an end to its stretching length.

His first arm had to readjust its course to try hold the bear back by coiling above and before it, then advancing on the bear again, like a snake.

Watching its life like motions of its biting teeth, snarling sounds, reaching deadly claws and the strength that pushed him till he was at the edge of the stage, Kivon used another technique.

*"Ko-jin Cloak 1.1"*

The Ko-jin that had always been around his body, as thick as an astronauts' suit, shrunk to a third and he casually tossed the bear to where it had come from with a flick of that hand.

BONG!!

Now, he also had caught the bird and intended to smack it back to the ground but he suddenly got hit in sixteen different directions which were powerful enough for him to notice as dangerous. When he wanted to use the free arm to strike at the nuisance, the bear had lunged towards him, teeth bared and claws raised high. So, he had to waste a second of concentration expanding the Ko-jin about this arm to cover both the bear and the new distraction but the Hawk had struggled free and returned to its owner.

Now, he could see that a Killer Whale of mud was swimming amidst a thick layer of wet mud which moved along with it as if the aquatic creature was the center of its orbit. Kivon noticed that Kazu Nini herself had not moved from her previous position since the battle began and he became incensed.

BONG!!

Charging at her in blinding speed, he was first slowed down a heartbeat by the Bear which had been thrown in his general direction, apparently successful in meeting him. And when it was scattered on impact, the Killer Whale joined in, then, the Hawk came in lastly. Kivon almost had his arm touching Nini by extending an arm through all of their embrace as they had not managed to completely stop him, but by the time he was close, he was already getting rapidly encased in a ball of mud that left no space to even breathe. When the struggling Sprite had finally broken out of the sphere, he was already outside the arena.

Mako Nini smiled mostly to one side but did not clap as her niece had won but through wit. And the crowed went wilder this time.

"What an underdog! What an underdog!!!"

His distaste, anger and humiliation bled from his face like a stab to his heart and Jinja Kaliope flickered a booger towards the seating area of the Kings, Queens and Jesters. The two sides were held back by their class mates, in bubbling out frustration.

"Teachers please watch your students, but wow, WOW. I do understand the passion coming forth from our spectating youth."

The Sprite was about to move back in the ring when his partner called to him, "tag me in."

Kivon ignored Devon and moved back into the barrier.

*"Ko-jin Cloak 1.2."*

His Ko-jin coating slunk down again and Kazu Nini's eyes looked as if blue flames were dancing from them, the same hue shone from within her mud minions and her cloak of Glass also contracted on her body. She did not show the strain she was subjecting herself to and when the opponent was back in, the minions were already positioned.

"Round 4, Mid-Distance Fighting! Ready???"

The crowd shouted in response and Kivon had a serious look on his face as he set his stance.

"...2...1...GO!!!"

The Sprite began walking leisurely towards her as he slapped away the hawk, although it was not tossed as far as he expected, then he sidestepped the Dolphin. When he reached the Bear – BONG!! - he appeared in its back and jumped off it with so much force, that a half of its torso was torn off in a crescent and cracks webbed the floor in all directions to testify of his proficiency with Explosive speed. The Bear, however, had already began turning to him as he had been preparing his jump and the remaining arm had latched onto one of his feet at the very moment it left its back.

Kivon began kicking towards the empty space he had created on its body from earlier, and at the still recovering face with his free leg, but its other arm had pieced itself together, coming around to knock the wind out of his lungs in a swipe that would easily crumple steel. Kivon had no issues regenerating as the concentrated amount of Ko-jin on his body heightened not only his attacks and defense but his health restoration. Still, the pain did not go as easily, and as he was currently in the air from harshly bouncing off the stage, the Killer whale had now caught him in its jaws. Rattling its head brutally, it added a few wounds to his previous set of recovering ribs and lungs with its teeth, and the Hawk finished off the combo by burying him in a hole of his own making after piercing its beak into his abdomen and following the hurtling body until it met the stage and shatter from the cumulative impact.

BANG!!!

*"Ko-jin Cloak 1.3"*

The Pixie was surprised that the birds' beak did not make a clan hole through and through so she needed to step in. When Kazu Nini rushed in with a punch, the Ko-jin about his body shrunk by another third, his hands and feet dropped from hanging ridiculously in the air. He had turned his face towards her, jumped to his feet and held his stance as she approached.

Already in the air, she could barely change her momentum and when she reached him, he pulled her in close before landing a punch squarely on her gut with all his might.

"OOOOOO." The crowd reeled back as she was repelled as if caught in a hurricane.

Smartly enough, her mud minions stood in a row and stopped her momentum, until… finally, when she reached the last and she was a nano step away from the rim of the arena's perimeter. Kazu Nini even had to tilt her body until it found balance again and stood back on the stage, stably and with two feet.

Throughout the match she hated having to push her body by constantly contracting the glass about it just when she was starting to adapt to the strain that helped her break her limits but she could not complain. Her Glass suit became as close as a shirt and trouser could to her skin, her head now looking as if she has a medieval helmet that was on fire. The minions now having the soil that is their body darken until it is almost entirely black with a sheen of Light blue film that resembled jumper pajamas.

When a palm of Ko-jin covered the front of the Bear, the owner was surprised that instead of dragging it, the mud minion grabbed the hand that was taller and thicker than it and pulled him in a wide arc up and above it. Mid-air, Kivon tugged again this time and won. Though, lifting the mammal also into the airspace was before he realized he had to add a spin that led his leg to meet a swooping Hawk as he swatted away the Killer Whale.

Having redirected the mud aquatic beast by his free hand, he had managed to ignore the Bear's constant scratching and biting but he was thrown off course when the bird threw him by tumbling its body and then letting its talon's thwack at him with surprising strength. That second was all the bear needed to clamber up higher on his body to focus on vital parts. The tug with the mammal was even made worse when the Bird began raking him with claws and latching to him.

As Kivon began fending off the savage bites, scratches and fists, he noticed something expanding underneath him. The Killer Whale was now nowhere to be seen but there was a growing pool of the liquid mud that it usually carried around.

Tumbling through the air, he waited until he was 3 meters off the ground before…

*"Ko-jin Bomb."*

BOOOM

Kivon's Ko-jin expanded then contracted so fast that with its current amount of concentration, it actually hit like a potent bomb, rocking the arena and sending ripples across the Damage Barrier.

"Hey, Sprite boy!"

By the time the pieces of her mud minions reached her standing position, Kazu Nini was holding the complete Bear by its collar, the bird was making circular movements that got faster by the second about her like a tornado and the mud liquid that seemed intelligent began creeping towards Kivon again.

"Catch."

She threw the mammal, using at least 25% of the remaining 75 she had, and it hurtled towards him like a missile excitedly moving with devious intentions. The hawk dive bombed at him too as the liquid mud was now inches away. When he saw her disappear from his sights, he kept his guard up but he also did not expect to see an extra fighter that looked like a blend between a cheetah and a tiger, pounce from the Bears back. The feline creature had boosted itself forwards, the hawk right behind it and the bear at the end-most of them all, but the mud liquid had caught his shoes to begin solidifying and rooting him in place, firmly.

The hawk pierced through his right arm with its beak, the leopard had his neck, the bear carried him up with a brutal swipe and the mud kept him in place from hurtling upward, so the rebound to him was terrible.

When he wanted to react, he found Kazu Nini squatting under his person.

*"Here Is A Greeting!!!"*

A fist of glass that grew to become an arm, propelled her from like she was a rocket and an uppercut caught Kivon's chin which flung him into the air. She jumped off the rising fist and when she took another step while airborne, a platform of glass was already there.

Kazu Nini punched him until his eyes opened, then she created smaller fists that attacked him, of glass, from random directions. Then, she jumped over the Sprite to leap from another created platform and land some hits and blows. She spawned another set of fists, again, before springing to another area - all the while taking his body higher and higher.

Kazu Nini did not want him regaining his bearings, so she jumped from a platform behind him, now positioned well above him so that her sights faced not only him but the stage. And she then viciously punched him, dragging him down with her fist, to meet the first glass creation of an extending arm that had been climbing up all this time that she had used to launch her uppercut….

...Until she punched him through it and they both hit the ground, the recoil quaking the battle platform and throwing his body into the air and outside of the barrier, still Kazu Nini did not stand up. When she did rise to her feet, she noticed that the Slime had been speaking all this while but she had on so much concentration that she had not noticed it.

"… a perfect finish, beautiful combo, marvelous ending..."

Her aunt could probably scold her if she found out that this had been the case. She scanned the crowd and found Mako Nini who gave only one clap that made she herself roll her eyes.
