Nikolay led Imani into the living room where the box containing vials of the Sirizan virus was and shut the door behind them. It was just him, Aksel, Takeda, Aryna and three other vampires in the house and he didn't want those three to see her because of what Aksel had told him about getting back at Harrison through Imani earlier today.

She had never been to his place before because her parents didn't want her to. They also didn't want her to be seen in public with him because he had quite a number of enemies and they didn't want her to get hurt so the both of them always stayed at her place.

Nikolay picked up the box on the centre table and she gave him a small smile as he stretched it out to her. He thought she would instantly turn around to leave the house after collecting it and he didn't want her to do that because he wanted to talk.
