Regaining Pride Part 2

The ogre became even more enraged when he noticed Nick's contemptuous gaze, despite not knowing what it meant, the ogre instinctively knew that it was not pleasant, and that he was belittling his strength, so the ogre went crazy and he started attacking even more violently no matter what.

Seeing that the ogre fell before his provocations, Nick did not waste the opportunity he was looking for and attacked in a quite suicidal way, since he faced the ogre's frontal attack that he managed to dodge in the last second, of course he did not do it unscathed and lost a lot of skin on his right arm.

But even so Nick didn't mind as he continued to carry his front load to the ogre's chest.

The ogre, seeing that his attack failed and noticing its opening, could not react in time to Nick's attack. Which finally managed to stab his sword into the ogre's chest, taking advantage of the synergy of the ogre's body against him, to make the final move, and finally end his life.

Nick fell to the ground at the same time as the ogre's corpse.

"Shit, I made it." Nick exclaimed, as he breathed heavily and relaxed momentarily.

Then, Nick heard a voice that brought him out of his illusion. "Nick the fight is not over yet!" Luna scream.

Right after Luna´s reminder. Nick felt the air above his head and torso move violently.

Without thinking twice, Nick jumped on his left side exactly on his broken arm, only when he felt the penetrating pain again on his body. Nick remembered that he was still in a terrible situation.

"Never lower your guard before confirming that there are no longer any enemies in your environment." Luna remembered strictly upon noticing the new situation Nick was in.

"Okay, but how do I deal with these two guys at the same time?" Nick asked.

"As you may have noticed, ogres are idiots who only think with their muscles, so try to make their attacks collide with each other, in order to generate enough mistrust between them and thus be able to take advantage of that small gap, and take them individually.

Now you have a little more experience dealing with them, so apply the same tactic you used with the previous one and use your own strength against them. " Luna said

"I will do that then." Nick said.

And so Nick went to work applying all his recent experience and knowledge.

The two ogres when noticing that Nick was speaking alone, took the opportunity to simultaneously attack again, one of the ogres attacked Nick's upper body from the left while the other attacked Nick's leg joints to avoid For him to escape his seizure ring, then Nick did something unthinkable that surprised everyone including Luna who already had her heart in her throat at the sight of Nick's reckless action.

Nick made a 360 degree turn to his left side, and at the critical moment he threw his sword into the eyes of the ogre attacking the lower part of his body, the ogre noticing Nick's strange action stopped for a second, which was enough for Nick to roll towards his direction while dodging the blow on the top that came from his other direction.

All the action occurred in less than 10 seconds, thus freeing himself from injuries.

Nick then rolled onto the ground as he took up the sword that fell to the ground as fast as he could. While he counterattacked temporarily mowing down the ogre's left eye. When Nick attempted another move, the ogre recovered from his initial stupor and roared.

"You damn fool Nick, you know what a scare you just gave me when you made that reckless move." Luna exclaimed furiously as she sighed in relief as she realized that Nick's plan was successfully accomplished.

"Sorry my dear Luna, but I had to use the best chance I had to avoid getting hurt at that time." Nick responded excitedly.

"Okay, but don't do another suicide move like that one again." Luna request.

"Maybe." Nick answered Luna.

"Maybe?" Luna exclaimed hastily.

"I can only say that, because I don't know how the battle will turn out, and I prefer to sacrifice parts of my body instead of my life." Nick answered honestly.

"Also the battle is nearing completion and I can't miss any chance to win." Nick added.

"Okay, but be careful." Luna said concerned for Nick's safety.

"I will keep it in mind." Nick replied.

Nick then rushed in the direction of the maddened ogre as he dodged the savage blows from his wooden stick.

He then attacked the blind spot of the ogre, managing to deliver many critical hits at various vital points, just as Nick was going to deliver the coup de grace on the ogre's blind eye to pierce his brain. Nick was warned of the presence of the other ogre just behind Himself, so he had no choice. But to dodge aside as he took advantage of the ogre's opening unscathed, to plunge his sword into the ogre's heart, but unlike the first ogre killed by Nick

The new ogre did not die immediately, Nick was surprised to see this, but due to his surprise Nick left an opening that the ogre took advantage of, as he made a 360 degree turn and hit Nick's upper back, sending him flying to the cave wall

At that moment, Nick felt the air leave his lungs, causing Nick to suffocate due to the lack of air.

Nick totally ignored the pain, and desperately tried to catch his breath. But he couldn't. Luckily for him, the ogre who had just attacked him was lying on the ground motionless symbolizing his death. But Nick still could not lower his guard because there was still the most dangerous of all the ogres.

When the ogre notice Nick's critical condition, He used the most fatal attack he had, to finally assassinate Nick.

"Let's see who dies first." Nick exclaimed with the last breath he had, when he saw the ogre's approach.

Then Nick like the ogre, carried out a frontal attack that would symbolize the end of the battle and its result.

Nick charged crazily as he let the ogre's wooden stick strike his side, as he plunged his sword into the ogre's brain through his blinded eye.

Only then all ended up, the ogre fell to the ground motionless. Meanwhile Nick exclaimed in joy with his last breath, "I'm finally the winner!" Before passing out from lack of oxygen.
