CHAPTER 5

S A K U M I ❀

I open the door and the chilling cold of the morning breeze just kissed my skin and I shudder before I closed the door behind me. I went for a walk alone and about to buy something for my parents and for my pet. I felt great after crying all night and now i'm okay. Tears really heal me from doubt.  I wore my cloak and i find it cute with a hoodie. Mom made one for me for upcoming winter. I was too excited to wear it even I know summer is coming. Its perfect for my size.

A poster caught my attention and turn myself to look at it. I saw a lot of poster on every sidewalk, walls and even on the trees. It has a picture of a young man. He has a flower crown. He look handsome by the way. He doesn't look like a criminal to me. Why does his face are all over town? Maybe his famous or something? I simply ignore it and stop as I heard a horse galloping. There's a soldiers coming with their spears and shining armors but aside from that they seems to be from another kingdom. I passed them and one of them blocked my way and they pick out those poster at my face.

"Have you seen spring?"

"Spring? " I was left confused, was that season or...Wait a minute ang kilala kong spring ay yung weasel na nakilala ko that day.  "Amhp could that be a weasel?"

"His a prince not an animal"

"Opss sorry. Nope haven't seen him. Hopefully you'll find him have a good day"

I past them and someone grabbed my cloak and remove the hood, revealing my bare face to them. As my hair flew out they bowed and apologized. Dahil siguro nakatago ang buo kong mukha sa kanila kaya pinaghinalaan nila ako. I pulled out my hood from their grip. They're trying to choke me.

"Are you a floria?"

"Yes why?"

"You don't look like one"

"Of course because i'm ugly, get that most of the time. Thank you for your kind and insulting behaviour sir so will you excuse me because I am busy to..day .  Alam kong yan na naman ang sasabihin nyo e kaya nag advance na ako geh alis nako. I'm in a hurry"

Umalis na ako sa harapan nila at sinuot ulit ang hood ko "If ever you'll encounter this prince may makukuha kang malaking salapi na pera" dinig kong sigawan nila na di ko nililingon. Nagthumbs up lang

Pumasok ako sa bakery shop and roam my eyes on every delicious treats. Sakuri likes a puffy cone mushroom bread magdadala din ako kay mama and hopefully spring like breads too. Bumili ako ng marami at masayang lumabas ng tindahan. As i crossed the street someone bump me and had me fell to the ground at lahat ng binili ko natapon lang.

Nagalit ako at hinabol ang lalake ket napakabilis niya di parin ako tumitigil sa kakahabol hanggang sa luksuhan ko siya at gumulong kami at napatungan ko siya. "Got yah! Pagbabayaran mo ang natapon kong binili" i knuckled my arms and about to hit him pero napigilan ako ng may damputin sa kanya at inalis ang nakatakip sa kanyang mukha.

"We found prince spring!!" Sigaw ng mga guardia at napatabi ako ng magsiyakbuhan ng mga soldiers sa likuran ko. Gagi prinsepe pala siya!

Humarap ako sa mga soldiers at lumapit sa lalake na pilit na nagpupumiglas sa kanilang hawak at nagtagpo ang mga mata namin na kinabigla ko dahil namumukhaan ko ang mga matang iyon. Did we met?

Humarap ako sa mga soldiers at inilahad ang palad ko. "SO WHERE IS IT?" Pangunguna ko at inabutan nila ako ng bag na may lamang gold. "Thank you sa uulitin"

Nakita ko ang inis sa mga mata niya at umatras ako at may nabangga akong bagay at lumingon ako. "Sorry po!" Sigaw ko sa kanya at tininghala ang aking tingin sa isang matangkad na babae na may armor. She remover her bascinet and I was shock to see her white hair and purples eyes. She's not a flower, she looks like me.

"So your the one who captured the prince?"

Napabalik ako sa realidad ng tanungin niya ako bigla "Yes and i'm asking for my reward and you just trick me. Dahil sa prinsepe nayan natapon ang mga binili ko e lagot ako kay mama pag uwi ko"

"Where's your house then..miss bloomix?"

"Wait? Are you trying to arrest me just because I complained my rights? Unfair I captured that idiot and as a deal wheres my reward--"

"Isang word nalang. Nasan ka nakatira" medyo natakot ako kase seryosong seryoso ang boses niya. I had no choice but to follow her. Dinala ko siya samin at inabutan ko siya ng makakain. Mom is stunned again and about to lost conscience like what happen before. "Is my daughter done something bad?"

She sip the tea and put it gently and fold her arms "She captured our prince and as a result I would like to hired her to work for me at the palace If you want. I'm Captain Valor'e at castle Haru of south "

Gumawa rin ako ng kape ko at nagkukwenta lang sila dun hanggang sa sabay sila papa nagsitayuan ni mama at masayang binati ang heneral at napaso ako ng lunukin ko yung mainit na tubig at napaluha ako ng dumaloy ito saking lalamunan at bituka. ANG INIT!!

"OF COURSE DEAR GENERAL" nabigla naman kame pareho nung general nang ishake ang hands niya ni mama sa sobrang tuwa at ganon rin si papa. "Take her now please wag nyo na isauli" Medyo nahurt naman ako deep inside sa sinabi ng mga parent ko. Pero di ako naoffend. Pero pinamimigay nila talaga ako ako gagi di nyo ko lab.

Di nagpaligoy ligoy sina papa at mama at pumayag sila sumama sa kaharian ng prinsepe. Isang takaserong royal blood sa kaharian. Ang swerte kaya ng buhay niya tapos tinatakasan niya lang ako nga heto binubully sa flaws ko tapos siya rebelde

She hurriedly jump on a squirrels back at tinawag na niya ako. At umakyat na ako. Hinawakan ko lang ang armor niya at napakabilis ng squirrel na tumakbo para tinalo si sakuri sa pabilisan.

Mag iingat ka anak. Have your adventure be strong. I can't just let you stay in the shadow i want the whole world to see your uniqueness. Please wag ka sana magalit kung pinapayagan kitang pinapasama sa mga tulad nila. Gusto kolang sana maranasan mo ang kalayaan at maging matatag ka na floria...

Yan ang sinabi nila sakin nung paalis na kame. The squirrel deviated and went to a sapphired trail and entered a gate that was covered in vines. I roam my eyes on the bushes and trees and even animals with wings on the top of the tree.

After we passed the forest we have reach the emerald landscape. Meadow!

From a distance I saw the castle stand tall and lots of houses nearby. We passed so many people and they looked like me. They had no flower head dressess.

Bumaba na kame malapit sa mga wagon at uminom ang squirrel sa malapit na balon at naglakad kame. Nakatingin sakin ang mga ito at ganon rin ako sa kanila.. i pursed my lips and just followed the general as we passed the village we have gone to a tall buildings and markets.

Maraming nagbebenta ng kakaibang klase ng pagkain na di ko pa nakikita sa rubiana. I shivered as the wind blew ans I glanced and saw a white ice taken over the grass and I saw a two peopls by and they're the one created the white thingy.

"That's prince Glace. A neighboring kingdom"

"You people are strange"

"Of course we arent florishian folk. We are simply normal. Our Majesties are the one who visited your land. You're a bloomix aint yah?"

"You knew?"

"Of course i studied your existence well di ko naman masasabi na magaling ako pero I have learn a lot from a friend who study botany his a duke by the way"

"Sad to say. I ain't floria. Actually i'm an outcast"

"Shess, floria beauty standards are cheap for calling you that"

"Nuh don't flatter me its okay. Tanggap ko naman e"

"Its not. Your beautiful actually miss sakumi they just couldn't bare the beauty you got. Your parents are both jasmine right?" Sabi niya at tumango ako "And yet they have a different type of baby flower bloomix. Maybe your mom cheated to someone else---"

"Hey!" natapik ko siya sa balikat at natawa siya sakin

"Kidding kid. By the way our prince is a stubborn one. He don't wanna be the next spring prince. Siya lang ang tanging anak ng spring majesties at kapag panatilihin niya ang pagiging rebelde. Walang bloomix na magbobloom sa next spring"

"So is that why you sent me here? For what actually?"

"Its fate. Nagkatagpo kayo ng prinsepe and maybe you'll be the key to him. You just have the gut to jumped on him and I saw how you plan to gave him a blow on the face.."

"Sorry..."I thought he was a jerk, turns out to be a prince.
