Chapter 21: CHAOS WILL COME

Emptiness enveloped me,

As I feel the cold, seep through my skin,

I feel like ascending, so very high,

And then my mind, began to spin.

I see a faint light, and heard voices,

Repeating some inaudible noises,

I tried to reach the thing so luminant,

Only to realize, after some tries, that I can't.

It stopped, then it morphed,

Into a human or some sort,

It smiled then he told me,

"Don't be shy, and come forth,"

I don't know why, but my body,

Moved on its own, so suddenly,

I had no control, and I began to panic,

"Don't hesitate, don't feel manic,"

"I am no delusion, I am no fraud,

I am here, appointed by God,

For I will speak, of near-to-come dangers,

That will befall, if you trusted a stranger,"

I did not speak, for I was not able to,

I just stared at it, listened for I had to,

My body felt cold, numb at every passing minute,

But I knew this dream, is important every bit.

"Those creatures won't stop,

Until all of your bodies are chomped,

And every river that's silent,

Is no difference from a sea so violent,"

"This Friday remember, to tell them not to wander,

For if they look at the window,

They will see what they wanted to see,

Not knowing, it's not what it seems to be,"

"Peace might be tempting,

But it's just the Devil plotting,

Don't let your eyes make you blind,

For a wrong choice, cannot be rewind,"

"Any question?

Objections?"

I nodded my head,

He smiled, then I felt my voice,

coming back again.

"How do I make them believe me?

All they think is I'm making things up,

That I'm crazy!"

"Lad, calm down,

And slowly speak to me,

I know you're feeling overwhelmed,

By this countless uncertainties,"

"They wouldn't believe me, what should I do?

All I said, they deem not true,

How can I save them? What are the steps?

Just tell me and I'll do so, with my heart and all my best,"

He looked at me rather hurt,

Then moved closer, his face with a lustrous glow,

His long sharp fingers touching my chin,

"Those people are...rather very mean,"

"Those who have faith, will be saved,

And those with none, will be slain,

It matters not how, you say it my lad,

Those who believe, will know you're not mad,"

Those were the last words, I heard before he left,

Then I woke up, to my very sweaty self,

I looked around, and they were all still asleep,

Now I must be ready, to filter the goats from the sheeps.
