One morning, as the first light of dawn painted the sky in hues of pink and gold, Qin Chen woke up with a newfound sense of determination. The mission ahead weighed heavily on his mind; he understood the urgency of their task. After a quick morning routine, he opened his Shop System, a unique ability he had gained in his journey through the world of Douluo Dalu.

He then decided to open his shop and see what item thar could help him to increase his power.

With a glance at his available resources, he decided to invest in upgrading his spirit level. Qin Chen had collected a substantial amount of Etherium Crystals, a valuable currency in the Shop System. After browsing through the options, he settled on purchasing Spirit-Froged Fruits.

The reason behind why Qin Chen doesn't buy every item even though he had enough Etherium crystal is simply that he just don't want to get so powerful directly. He wanted to take his time slowly. 

Beside, on top of that Qin Chen has his second martial spirit which is a shikigami, which he never experimented on it before.

With his purchase made, Qin Chen felt a surge of energy as he consumed the fruits. He could feel his spiritual lake expanding, reaching new heights. The process was both exhilarating and exhausting, but he persevered, knowing the importance of gaining every bit of power he could. With the increase in the spiritual lake, it would be harder for Qin Chen to level up; but he will be stronger than the pople on his level and even able to fight someone that has a higer level then him.

Meanwhile, Xiao Wu focused on honing her control over her newly evolved martial soul, the Overlord Spear. With each practice session, she delved deeper into the essence of her spirit, refining her techniques and harnessing her newfound strength. Her eyes glowed with determination as she sparred with Qin Chen, the two pushing each other to their limits.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. The duo faced numerous challenges in their quest to increase their power. Starting from Qin Chen that was stuck for days at level 29 for an unknown reasons and Xiao Wu who has difficulty in understanding more about her second spirit skill which is 'Shadow Dance'

The spirit ability gave her the ability to bo one with the darkness, which increases her agility, stealth, and also her strength of course. 

As they spent more time together, both Qin Chen and Xiao Wu started to develop feelings for each other. This happened because they had been alone together in a secluded area of the Spirit Hall for the past month, a place accessible only by BiBi Dong's key. It was a special gift from their teacher, designed to help them focus on their training.

They grew so close that they didn't mind sharing a bedroom, sleeping in the same bed, and even cuddling each other during their sleep.

A few days were left before the mission was supposed to be completed, and suddenly, tension gripped Qin Chen's mind. He knew for sure that if he failed his mission, the system would administer a punishment.
