"What? What did you ask?" Long Jing asked wanting to make sure he heard right

"Do you want to stay a thief? Yes or no?" She said not very patiently.

Long Jing knew that in this position there is only one answer you could say "no I don't want to stay a thief, now, will you please let me go? I didn't even want to steal from you I didn't have a choice, if I could, I would never steal from house of a powerful whi wor wit... women" The woman smiled when she saw how Long Jing gets entangle with his words not knowing what to call her because everybody knows that calling a magician not by the right name can insult him "You can leave if you want but I put a location spell on you so police will come to put you in jail in no time." The woman posed, giving Long Jing a chance to leave and when he didn't she continued "right now other than jail you have two options- you can become a worker of mine for 10 years in the underworld which most probably will get you the bandit job and finally become a slave or you can become a student at my school while owing me 3 favors" she smiled, almost like she is waiting for me to ask 'what's the catch' and when she saw Long Jing don't she said "You are no fun," the smile disappeared from her face and was replaced with a grumpy look which scared the shit out of Long Jing (after all she is a f***ing witch) so he quickly asked "'What's the catch'?" and then added "I couldn't talk earlier cause your beauty captivated me." the smile went straight back to her face although you could tell that the compliment didn't work on her, and she continued her Obviously well prepared speech "'What's the catch' you ask? If in three years when you graduate if you are not the top of your class you will work for me till the end of your life. Make your choice"

Long Jing immediately answered he would go to school. He had two reasons for choosing this- A: He wasn't a stupid person and knew this really wasn't a choice and B: He knew this is a huge opportunity to become someone with power and more importantly someone with money.

After that the witch who told Long Jing her name was Adi got some magical papers and they wrote brought the crystal ball close to him and told him to touch it. Long Jing took a deep breath thinking 'this moment gonna change my life' he then touched the ball and everything went dark

when light returned he was in a different space it was entirely white without a begining or an end and there was nothing there. 'That's not right' Long Jing thought 'Acording to what I read in books there suposed to be leters flying everywhere and for me to choose one or at list one job, why is there not a single letter to be seen?' Long Jing started searching for a job but after hours of searching (or at least felt like hours after all he didn't have a watch or a sun in this place) Just when he started to think he would never get a job he finally saw small violet words which looked to Long Jing like they were trying to hide, he ran and cought the job ready to get all the information about this job and ways to level up get into his mind when...BAMMM... he was back in Adi's apartment Adi looked at him with an excited look "you were out for 30 minutes so you must had plenty of jobs to choose from, what job did you chose?" Long Jing quickly looked at his status and said with a troubled face "a thief"
